I am an ELT head teacher . I come from Hamam Ghezaz, a lovely town in the North East of Tunisia. Here's ( in the photo)  the Southern part of my town. It's known  by everyone as " Langar" , I think it refers to something like a station or a place where a traveller can settle to relax. Like the Eastern part  of the town, it's boarded by the sea, which makes of our town a peninsula.
I like so much this quarter of my town because it's where I was born and brought up. It's where you can find nice and friendly people. It's where you can see concrete examples of good neighbourhood. .Ramadan in Hammem  Ghezaz is a wonderful occasion . Apart from being a religious festivity, it's an opportunity to share visits and show real signs of hospitability. 
During Ramadan, we fast from dawn to sunset for a whole month. we celebrate Eid el fitr just after it, so we wear new and beautiful clothes. We exchange homemade sweets and we share greetings .
