+Provide a rough plan of what you propose to do within the topic, and what areas/ topics/ concepts of mathematics you propose to use.

+The mathematics must be at least of HL standard, and you must be able to demonstrate your understanding of it. One possible way to get the level right is to imagine that your Exploration is going to be read by a fairly typical Y1 HL student. Will you be able to convey the mathematics in a way that (i) starts with something familiar but takes them a little out of their comfort zone, and (ii) leads to a reasonably clear mathematical understanding as they read through your work.
