Inflation is Falling

Inflation has been distressingly high for a little while now, especially as a result of the pandemic. This recent and slow fall in inflation will affect consumers purchasing and will most likely be assisted by recession. Additionally if inflation is low and predictable it boosts economic activity.

Turkey Syria Earthquake

Both Turkey and Syria have been ravaged and gravely affected by the earthquake. They are lacking in aid in the wake of the natural disaster and are in dire need of more help.

Covid China, No New Variants Emerge

Although there has been a Covid outbreak in China there is no new variants surfacing. As we have experienced, the presence of new covid variants that are vaccine resistant is a dangerous and world threatening problem. The tracking of the emergence of new variants demonstrates the need for continued testing, surveillance and transparent sharing of data.

Balloon Controversy

There was a Chinese balloon that  triggered an uproar in Washington, shaking up the already contentious relationship between the world's two biggest economies. In this highly tense time the presence of these suspicious aerial objects is a concern especially having implication for international relations and safety.

Climate Justice Standpoint

We live in a time of overlapping crises that require intersectional reponses. Climate justice is a stance that we must take in order to approach climate change, inequality and inequity. If we consider how what we do can be used to impact the climate crisis we can subvert processes that endanger us.

European Migrant Crisis

Tens of thousands of people have disappeared on their way to Europe. These people are dying and discarded. We need to engage in recovery and death prevention

Looking at the whole of my content bubble an outsider would see an unequal and struggling society with many interlocking processes taking place.

There are common themes of hardship, crisis, and danger 

There is definitely bias in my content, most is sourced from more left leaning sites therefore there is a good chance the information present is not as objective as it purports itself to be. Implications of this is that a person with no other information aside from what is included in the Paquete has a very limited set of viewpoints to seek global news and information from. There is also a limited set of news and I may have not gathered other crucial information that should be known.
