Today's society isn't where it should be when it comes to uniting as a whole. Racial division is still a real thing, just because it was a long time ago doesn't mean the past has been forgotten and those divided values dont still exist.

Although it may not be as bad as jim crow and segregation, I think that our society is still divided.
