Teachers share their knowledge, teaches, provides and is professionally dedicated so that children, acquire learning and knowledge, art, science, subject, and some values that favors and help them to develop their future life in society. In this work we will be seeing and developing a topic about some of the competencies that a good teacher should have.

Dedication: To use all available time.

Be realistic: Have your feet on the ground.

To be open-minded.

Knowing how to manage diversity: Student groups are increasingly diverse.

Authority: In the best sense of the expression.

Generosity: To pour all their knowledge to the students.

Responsibility: Understood as the ability to respond. Strive to have the same expectations and standards as the students, be fair, egalitarian and be an example to follow, not doing what I would not want the students to do.

Be flexible: in a particular situation should be able to make changes in injuries or activities at the time, you must be able to change and explain the content in different ways.

Be attentive: make the greatest effort so that all students are successful, know their qualities, personalities, interests and incorporate them to connect individually with each one.

Proximity: A good teacher should not isolate himself on his podium.

Enthusiasm: Knowing how to transmit vital energy.

Humility: Not to believe that he/she is above good and evil.

Patience: Not everyone takes ideas on the fly.

Knowing how to give prominence to the students. To be a good teacher is to let the student be the protagonist of his own knowledge, he must let the student commit himself to the choice of the 4 C's (critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication).

High expectations: An effective teacher must have high expectations, so every day he/she must motivate his/her students to try harder and harder.

Arouse interest: Develop intellectual curiosity.

Active listening skills. It is important that the teacher listens to the students since he/she will be able to know and understand what is going on in the child's mind at that moment, the student feels safe with his/her teacher, little by little he/she will open up and the teacher will get to know how the child really is, in a classroom the fundamental value of respect must be transmitted, the teacher must set the limits in a serene way and have an open attitude to the students' reactions to those limits, among others.

Fun: Without being comical. Fun learning adapts to the pace and interest of the person, with this the students are not forced to create knowledge, they do it because they feel the impulse to do so and thus tensions disappear and finally develop the creative and inquiring capacity.

Sincerity: "You'll catch a liar before you catch a cripple".

Assertiveness: When teaching a lesson, you cannot have doubts.

And, above all, the best level of knowledge about the subject or subjects he is teaching. He is going to be the transmitter of the witness in the relay race that is life.
