I was 15, spending a weekend at my uncle’s small farm with my two cousins, Marcos and Magno. That night, we decided to watch a horror movie, the kind that gives you chills. It was a werewolf film, full of howling moons and shadowy forests. Magno, my cousin, sat stiff the entire time, his eyes wide like something heavy was running through his head.

After the movie, Marcos and I found out why. Magno had the biggest fear of werewolves. And when I say big, I mean serious. He couldn’t stop rambling about how they could be lurking anywhere, even out here on the farm. We laughed at him, teasing him, as good cousins do. But, of course, everything changed when the power cut out in the middle of the night.

We had no choice. Someone had to go out to the garden and flip the fuse box. But who would be the brave one? We all hesitated, glancing nervously at each other. In the end, we decided to face the dark together. Armed with a tiny flashlight, we shuffled out into the garden, our nerves stretched tight. Then, out of nowhere, a massive shadow loomed in front of us. Our hearts stopped. Magno? He practically jumped out of his skin. I could tell what was running through his mind: “This is it. The werewolf!”

But, to our immense relief, it wasn’t a werewolf at all. It was just the cow, lazily chewing, clearly unimpressed by our terror. We burst into laughter, the fear melting away into the absurdity of mistaking a cow for a monster.

It was hilarious. But Magno? It took him a bit longer to see the humor. Eventually, he joined in, but for the rest of the night, every creak and rustle had us all wondering, just for a second, if Magno's fear might still come true.

I have a lot of difficulties discovering new good music. I listen at the gym, at home, at work and the pieces of music I listen keep running through my head all day.

As we got closer, I tried to focus on anything else. But Mariana nudged me and whispered, “Look.” And I saw it. The padlock was moving. Just a tiny bit, but enough to scare me. Questions started running through my head: Is there wind? Did someone else get stuck here too? But there was no movement anywhere else. Only that creepy, heavy padlock, shaking like someone was behind the door. I grabbed Mariana’s arm and said “Maybe we should go…”

We started walking away when suddenly there was a loud knock on the door. We ran like bats out of hell, screaming at the top of our lungs. To this day, that story run through our heads and neither of us has ever gone back to that hallway after dark again. Whatever’s in that room, let it stay there.

After a long search, we found a place that has everything for us. I planned our travel for the holiday!

Now it is running through my head all day about this place! What is the place? Mystery!
