I believe that I relate a little more to the “Purple Hibiscus” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie because she went through a strict religious household and I relate to that a lot because I was raised with religious rules that my parents put on me. They would put their beliefs on me and restrict me from doing and wearing certain things I want to try out or where. Some things I love to do but my parents restrict me from doing it for example Dancing. In my religion dancing is prohibited but I grew a love for it. I also related to her feeling free when she visited her aunt because the same thing happened to me. I went to California to visit my aunt and I felt free to do and wear whatever I wanted. I love my parents and they have never abused me but living in a religious household gets frustrating and I agree with the author of this book. -Ashley Argueta

The book that speaks to me the most is Just Mercy. Injustice in the justice system is a big issue. I think that it relates to a lot of issues that people I know personally fear in recent times. The plot is also similar to a show I really like. The overall plot is just trying to prove the innocence of a man who was framed for a crime and was supposed to get the chair. I am really interested in this kind of things and I think it would really catch my attention and I'd learn from it.

The book that spoke to me was the book "Just Mercy" I think that this book spoke to me because I like a movie that has a similar plot to this, I also have played a video game with a similar story this and enjoyed it. I also think this spoke to me due to the fact that I believe it is something I am interested in and it would be something that I would actually enjoy reading and it not feel like a chore to read.
