Condenser microphones is the preferred type for studio recording. Its also known as Capacitor microphone. Capacitor is essentially two metal plates in close proximity. Due to its extremely low mass, the diaphragm of a condenser microphone can follow the sound waves more accurately than that of another microphone. Condenser microphones, therefore, offer superior sound quality. Of all microphone types, condensers have the widest frequency response and the best transient response. Transients is fast bursts of energy. For example, the attack of a drum or the picking or a plectrum of an acoustic guitar. Also, condenser microphones usually offer much higher sensitivity.

The term “dynamic” can have a lot of meanings, especially when it comes to sound and music. In this case, however, it has little to do with “dynamic range” or a “dynamic performance". In this context, it refers the kind of electromagnetism that happens for instance inside your bicycle’s dynamo, When an electrical conductor moves in a magnetic field, an electric current is induced

Condenser microphone is more sensitive than Dynamic microphone. Dynamic microphone is prefered to used for talk to the group of people, while condenser is more used or recording audio. condenser mic can catch a detail sound while dynamic mic is more echo. The gain of a condenser mic is also more than dynamic. Dynamic mic can use for the concert hall and the condeser is more in a studio for recording or live recording in a certain places.
