    The American Dream has changed over the early 1900’s to today because the American Dream in the 1900’s immigrants from parts of Europe, China and other places wanted to have land, freedom, money and a better life. The American Dream today is to have the newest things like the newest cars, phone, house, etc, and to be super rich without working for it. Immigrants wanted that American Dream because they wanted to have a safe, successful life; whether that that meant leaving their country because of overpowering rulers, wars, famines or just wanted to come to America because the streets were “paved with gold”. Today people wanted that American Dream because they expected to be given things without working for it. 

    The American Dream then:

    -land
    -money
    - better life

    The American Dream today:
