A LETTER TO MY DEAR MOTHER EARTH

My dear mother earth

You are our source of living. Ignoring you life would not be possible with you. You have oceans of patience that's why you are forgiving all over misdeeds. You are watching us with patience that we'll change on our own without stringent punishment like flood, famine, drought or any breakout of pendamic like COVID-19. We are facing all these disasters but we not learning any valuable lesson out of it. One or the other day we've to pay a heavy price for it but man is not ready to rectify his mistakes.

We come with guns to occupy you. We choked you by putting fences around you. The chain-link necklace paining you a lot.

We try to dominate you, though we doesn't own you. We take pride in possessing you, buying and selling you but you wait with great patience that we'll realise our mistakes one day.

when somebody plants grass, trees, or when children dance on your lap, you cherish the moment. You give us everything food shelter clothing and all comforts but what we give to you, we pollute your fresh and pure air, fertile soil and crystal clear water. I firmly believe that You definitely don't need us for your wellbeing.

You can be very happy with out our intrusion but we can't survive without you. We must understand the gravity of this to preserve you for posterity.

We must plan our transactions wisely scientifically moreover humanly because we are all human beings. The real meaning of human being is being human. We must protect you to protect ourselves today and everyday otherwise the life without you become very costly.

My dear mother earth please do watch our activities with you and always remind us about our mistakes towards you. Bless us in all our endeavour.

My holy dearest Mother Earth,
Maa, I am upset by reading your letter, as you are facing a lot of problems caused by people.
Oh! Mother, you are the most precious thing in the universe, which has oxygen to breathe and water to quench our thirst. No other planet gives us everything for life as you are providing us, the food, shelter, and so on. It's our responsibility to save you, to ensure that our future generations get a safe environment. But because of our greediness, we forgot to save you. Now onwards we assure you that, we will take all precautionary measures before doing all sorts of works, which makes a less harmful impact on the environment to reduce the greenhouse effect. It is not just a responsibility, but also the privilege of us.
Mother, you are bestowing all that we need from millions of years. But we are fulfilling only our desires and forgot our responsibility to make you happy. We are ashamed of ourselves for our deed. Your heart is soo kind and generous that you are baring and forgiving all our misdeeds. Mother, we try our best to make you happy by planting more trees to reduce global warming. We pay attention while using water, we walk instead of using vehicles to reduce air pollution.
Mother, you do not take anything return from us, however, it is necessary to maintain the continuity of healthy life on earth. As I am not alone on the earth, there are many unknown species also living on you. So for the wellness of all species, we need to work together to save you by creating awareness among us. We will try to stop deforestation and will try to maintain the river water very clean. If we start to nurture you from right now, it may take years together to correct all harmful effects done by us.
Mother, there is no life for us without you.

But what to do , some selfish and foolish people are hurting you in the name of technology and science. You have given us so many things with out asking you, selflessly. I felt sorry to what has been done to you by us. I can feel how it must hurt you to be destroyed by the people whom you have nurtured. You provide us everything starting from food, clothes and shelter, So that we are not affected by weather.
From my part, I tried to tell to people that we need to change our habits and be sustainable. I felt very sad while I read your letter. I am trying very hard to write a latter to you. We homosapinens have decided you have left us. A natural environment so astonishing but we have exploited it in an irrevocable way mom. It is very rigid for you through the froms of ideologies .concepts of race caste identify. Class and so on. This portion has now become an inevitable part of our lives without it .it would seem that we could not live anymore .
Indigenous peoples and other have tried to Tell society for a long time that we needed to change. Groups like food and water watch and their members have worked to stop corporate polluters .but they need help from more of us.

Dear Mother,

My legitimate mother, I am sincerely shedding my emotions from the deepest of my heart having read the grievance of yours and for destroying the magnanimous forest , rivers, mountains and making it barren.

Mother , though you have provided us life, food , shelter, nurtured us and also taught us many nature lessons on how to live with in the nature and showered unconditionally the love and affectionate on us. Forgetting all these deeds, we, your children on a selfish ground returned back the charcoal , smoke, noise, and polluted you to the core, without even giving a thought about future adverse or the pain you are undergoing.

Today, overwhelmingly my heart weeps melancholy for the entire objection we have caused all through the seasons. Mother , I am also ashamed for not learning to be generous as you have been to us for these ages, and I am astonished too that we were least bothered to value each and every shell of yours.

All of us are your children. You know me very well. You are our dearest mother earth protecting us from the billion years. You are providing all the basic needs, those are food, clothes and shelter. You have taken utmost care of us like a MOTHER. At first I am conveying our gratitude and regards for lavishing lots of love and affection on us. You are mothers of the mother.

Maa, now this is our turn to save you. This responsibility starts at our personal level. In this state we should restrain ourselves from using energy excessively and reduce the usage of water, electricity, transportation etc., Here, we shall maintain, 3 R`s formulae.

Due to all of us pollution had increased all over the world (excessive use of transportation, incumbution of smoke, ash and waste materials from the factories and deforestation). Governments across countries and stakeholders are creating the awareness to save you. In this regard a forestation, rain water harvesting, recycling waste, declining industrial pollution, decreasing the pesticides and increasing organic forming are the actions taken to protect you.

Maa, we are promising you, we never fallen you down. We and our next generations take utmost care to protect your glory. You are our pride; we need your abundance blessings to withstrain ourselves.

Forgive us for our foolishness, all blunders, all our sins made against you.

We have been stabbing you since we made the wheel, causing you to bleed profusely. Still we are indifferent to your suffering and enjoying ourselves in merry-making in the name of ‘development’. We have been in the notion that your blood is inexhaustible and you would bleed forever, without any consequences on our own lives.

I know that you’re the ‘QUEEN’ of the “solar system”. Inspite of your superiority and busy schedule you never fail to realise , give happiness and wealth. And also I am eager to know how ‘You’ forgive me and my kin and kith when we ill- treat and give pain.

You are providing enormous wealth, the top most comfort, many excitement we can see, feel and enjoy that even we may not get in the Heaven. Your well balanced ecosystem supports the livings and non livings live one another supporting themselves.

I wonder how You look after us tolerating the ‘n’ number of inconvenience disturbance and impulses thrashed on by us. I come to know that You have written a letter since the bad deeds exceeds the limit which is being gone beyond your control. You are struggling to save us. After seeing Your letter I realize that You are advising us to balance environmental system and learn to live long and save.

My dear mummy know I can understand the absolute problem, actual causes human exploitation and much more reasons. I have planned to form a world level club a name of, “SAVE OUR ETERNAL MOTHER EARTH-CLUB” This will help us multi number of members at various levels from all over the countries. This club will take care of framing policies to save my beloved Mother. The club will meet periodically and when needed to add and delete amendments regarding the issues. Through this the club will compulsorily pin point the flaws in the present environmental and also the defect in the rules and regulations of global worming pollution control and deforestation.

The club will take care of implementing and take follow up action. The club will instruct all the countries in the world follow the rules and regulations strictly. This will help us to save forests from deforestation, water and air from water pollution and air pollution, ozone layer deplection from carbonmonoxide, sulphurdioxide, choloroflurocarbon and other chemicals.

I have well planned, highly effective and innovative ideas to save forests, rivers, seas, lakes, ponds, animals, insects… all belongings including human beings with MOTHER EARTH. Then MY MOTHER EARTH will be the biggest, the latest, the greatest, the most beautiful, the most wonderful, the best, the loveliest and the most valuable creation of the GOD in the universe.

Not only that you give us beautiful flora and fauna to rejuvenate our senses. All these years you kept on accepting our reckless and ungrateful behaviour. Our insensitivity has reached to such an extent that finally you had to write a letter to us pleading us to be more compassionate and caring. We human beings ,who are supposed to be the best of all creatures, having being blessed with brains , have infact acted in the most brainless manner by not thinking about the rate at which your bountiful resources are depleting because of our greed, over population and unnecessary violence for supremacy.
We as human race are really very sorry for our past behaviour. The recent pandemic too has opened our eyes to the atrocities that we inflicted on own mother. My Dear Amma,
I have received your letter which is an outburst of your suppressed emotions and a painful glory of your children's misdeeds. I had never thought that we as your children, the so called 'Human beings' would grow so insensitive to hurt you, exploit you and torment you. But these days are a mirror to our insensitive and aggressive attitude towards you.
I don't know why did we call you 'Mother' is it because you foster us by all means or because we can easily escape from the responsibilities of fostering you back by calling so. However, my dear Mother you have trusted these humans a lot forgetting the truth that all that glitters is not gold. We take everything form you for our lives including birth(as you are the only one who allowed humans on you), air, food, water, fuel to our vehicles, resources to our so called "development". After receiving everything we forget the giver and seek pride in these privileges.
Maa, what you are doing to us now is absolutely acceptable. Because we have proven that we are so insensitive and cannot become aware of our transactions with you. I beg You to remind us of our misdeeds until we become sensitive enough to care for you, nurture you and cherish you.
Being a daughter of you i empathise with you as i too have seen the insensitive attitude of humans everyday. Maa, this is time to show another face of you that is very destructive and will eventually make these "humans" aware of their mishaps.
Being in a responsible position as a teacher, i surely will try to sensitise the young minds about your traumatic condition.

Dear mother Earth,
We ,all the living things are living only because of you. You gave everything to survive for life. You gave all that we need since you came into existence and you are still giving and protecting us a lot as your children. We as your children should take care of you because it is not just responsibility but also the privilege of us.You are the only special planet which provide us life with oxygen in it. We just cannot imagine if you would end, it would lead to our end too.
Mom, we realise that we can do nothing without you and we promise and learn to give more than we take. We strongly take steps to stop deforestation and we take care of you well hereafter. Please forgive us for all that we did for you. Not only that we teach our next generation how to take care of you for the well being of the entire planet make you happy forever. Love you maa.

My Dear Mother Earth,

Amma, I read your heart touching letter but I don't understand after taking so much of care, after giving so much what is the necessity of requesting your own children that way?
I respect all your words which were taught by poets and writers. The actual fact is that your children now have made too much of research in the field of science particularly on solar system and planets. As a result they treat you just as a planet which has water, air, and sunlight. They never understand that you to have life and emotions as well. They never treat natural resources as yours but their own. When they treat their own parents as aliens, in such a situation how can you expect the royal feeling of treating you as their mother?
No, mother, leave all your merciful words and treat them with your anger through floods, drought, cyclones and other disasters. Then they will listen to you automatically.
In this I have a small request amma, what ever problems I asked you to create, is only to the greedy and not the poor.
Once again I request you not to request these humans; but show them that they aren't fit for it.

REPLY LETTER TO MOTHER EARTH My dear Maa, We have to say thanks to you ma, because You give us everything. In this creation there is no alternate to Mother, Mother's love. No one can show endurance like mother. In our mythology you are told as Bhudevi, Bhu matha. So Bhumatha is one and only legendry thing to bear such endurance. A mother generally takes care of her children, But you take care of total creatures up on you. Really we give you more and more pain to you by doing bad like pollute in all ways. Till you give food, water, air to all which are very important to live. When we die our own nearars, relatives, friends, any others ...they just drive away the dead body. Even that time you take care of us. You simply take us into your lap without any hesitation. We are nothing before you. We don't have any words to tell about your endurance. Dear Mother Earth ,
I am sorry for the deeds that we harmed you in any way and thank you, for all that you provided me with love and care, despite my deeds.
I'm feeling very sad and ashame because how cruelly we treated you. But thank you, for your patience. The name itself representing that you have a great heart but we failed to understand you properly, please forgive us.
Your plants sustain us with food, give us medicine to heal our bodies, wood for our shelter, raw materials for clothing and they provide our oxygen. Your rocks and dirt help the plants grow, and your water sustain all of our body functions, provided hours of entertainment whether we are playing in it or watching it.
Thank you for the air around us. The pressure keeps us upright, stable, allows us to breathe, and yhe wind who whispers messages from spirit. Your animals teach us how to play and live close to the earth.
But we hurted you lot and abused you. Sorry for everything. Let me know you in a new way than before, know me in a new way than before. Let me walk even more gently, give back constantly and always be open to hear your messages.
I believe we should instill these things in our daily lives and make it worthwhile, make sure that each day spent in gratitude for the things we have got, which includes all that MOTHER EARTH has given us.
I can't really limit it into a few words as the list really runs endless, but yes, we care and we take actions for making things work.

Dear Mother Earth,

It’s heart-breaking to see your message dear mother, over the billions years you never went through the situation like this before, hence you are writing to me.

I truly understand the current situation happening on this earth right now. Man has forgotten his relationship with you, Mother Nature. That is why he went on destroying earth and all its resources in the name of development. The real harmony between any relationships is the mutual understanding where mother earth doing her best. Whereas we humans troubling you more and more very often.

There is a limit to everything and you can take control over the human and his bad deeds but instead of that you reminding us to take care of you for our own well-being. Because of these motherly qualities we do worship you but at the same time knowingly or unknowingly we are destroying you lot! Please forgive us for everything we have done so far!

On behalf of mother earth, my appeal to dear fellow human beings...

In recent past years, as a result of large deforestation and fire started by humans…Amazon forest has lost 20% of it’s vegetation.
And in the name of urbanization and industrialization we are pumping 2.4 million pound Co2 per Second in atmosphere, which has directly contributing for Global warming. So in last 140 years 2016 was the hottest year and 2019 was the second hottest year.

Unusual climate change was at its peak, Ozone layer was depleting rapidly…and pollution was everywhere.
Due to COVID-19, many industries, vehicles and many other sectors are closed it helped our mother earth to heal. Right now, Co2 emissions have decreased by more than 50% which is helping the Ozone layer to regenerate. Even Global warming rate decreased by 0.02%. Deforestation rate have also decreased, which is really good for earth.

We humans should question ourselves that are we humans decease to the mother earth?
Nature doesn’t need People
But people need nature.

Think and act before everything gets destroyed!!!

First of all, I would like ask sorry to you Amma, because we the Humans not using you neatly. According me you are the Greatest of all the mothers in the world, because you are the Mother of all the Mothers.

Thank you for your water. It sustain all of our body functions, cleans us, provided hours of entertainment whether we are playing in it or watching it.

Thank you for your animals, who are our companions, show us love and teach us how to play and live close to the earth

Thank you for the air around us. The pressure keeps us upright, stable, allows us to breathe, to see the world around us. It allows us to enjoy.

Hey, Mother Nature. It’s me, Ganeshdiwahar. I would like to beat my chest on behalf of humans.I know for hundreds and thousands of years, we humans have caused some wilful damage to you. Pollution in every respect like air, water and land pollution from factories, vehicle exhaustion, landfills and everything in between have caused you harm.I want to sincerely apologize for this abuse we have caused you, primarily within the past 100 years. New inventions and new technology have caused us to make very poor decisions when it comes to conserving you and the planet. How can someone be so mean to their own mother? I feel awful.I am guilty of it. I have definitely travelled by plane, train and automobile multiple times…even when walking or biking was an option.I want to say I am sorry.I have also thrown plastic, paper, aluminum and other recyclables into the trash when, indeed, I could have put them in the blue or green bin to be made into something else. I feel awful every time I do it, because I do not want to hurt you.As technology has improved, you now have to deal with our electronic waste. This was not a problem until the past 50 years or so, and I again, want to apologize. This should not be your burden.We should be innovative and find new ways to make sure each and every used cell phone, computer or technological device finds a way of being recycled. That way, you do not have to deal with the consequences of land and water pollution.I hope you, Mother Nature, accept my apology.I know this open letter to you will not cure the damage to our planet, or change the erratic weather you have been ejecting onto us, but I wanted to show my feelings and support for you.I know you have been mad at us for neglecting and abusing you, and I am sure things may get worse in the future if we don’t change now.Climate change is real. Dear Mother Earth,

We have the only one black, fertile land, a stretch of green leaves, and a fest of fair flowers.
We grow in between the abundance of your kind love and the needs which you fulfilled with all the love without nodding. But what we did we gave you more suffering and you become more and more desert. you have been the only planet that decided to habit us for ages now. When other planet decided to be extremely hot and cold, you decided to mother us in other to welcome our creatures. The creation of your existence was 100% natural; flora, fauna, times and seasons. Resources were in abundance for humans to dwell there in and to conserve and also reserve for generations to come.

I remember when we relaxed and play on green vegetation and we enjoyed looking forward to all the seasons in the year. The predictions by scientist were fair enough. And when we sow crops, our expectations come real and yet we walk miles without feeling faint or tired. But today, things have changed as everyone now panic when the season comes. We know we had made mistake and now it is time to correct it.

Activists that advocate for the earth have tried their best to make the planet cleaner, greener and productive but the people have failed you in returns. You were created to give life all the support it entails to live but its alarming to know that values attached to human rights and that of nature has been a thing of the past. But we want to change the narrative.

A lot of menace has crippled into the world. We now live everyday thinking of the next line of action to follow. We live in a world where actions are only taken on emergency. When the earth demand for rainfall, she receives heatwave; we are no longer on the same page with you again. Oh! what a terrible disaster.

Dear mother I vow that I will make myself more friendly to you and make others to follow. Let’s hope the happy days to my mother.
