It is an image from the Book of Kells (Irish manuscript) (800AD) which contains different stimula: visual and manual (as they have to colour it).
students have to describe with simple structures

- COLOURS (what colours can you use?)

1) work in pairs and choose 3 objects within the school/class that can be measured

1)measure with a tape and scale and report  measures on the provided table on the handout

2) make convesions into feet/inches and ounces/stones by using coversion tables (or the website http://convert.french-property.co.uk/)

2) please exchange information about your chosen objects with another pair
