The  author has different plots in different places and how   the characters are feeling. The author is trying to make different plots cause there is so many plots in life. I think the main plot in the book is dreamlike .

The author continues this thought through the whole book the author does not say it strait out but chooses it through the characters . If this was not the right purpose the book would not of ended the same.
