He is the one doing dirty dealing, stealing, and other crimes. He wants everything for himself and is the unfavorable character in the story, and I say this because it's true. For example when he wanted the money right away from Jimmy Rat he didn't give him extra time. His dad is also part of the conflict. The author uses human v. human conflict because Vince doesn't want to be part of the mob, but his dad always ropes him back in.
