Working in collaberation with other students to learn the information at hand rather than receiving it through a more lecture style way.
I do feel more active learning will produce more skilled workers because they will be working with information using a more hands on approach. This will allow students to work more closely with their work.
Lectures should not be eliminated completely because their are many students who work better through this style of teaching rather than a active learning approach.

*I think using active learning as a way to teach will definitely produce more skilled workers in the future.  Individuals will be more prepared when entering a field and will have had more experience than those who learned through strategies such as lectures. 
* I don't think lectures should be eliminated completely.
