I enjoyed it. I thought it helped me approach the readings with a framework which allowed me to understand them better. It made for a less stressful and richer reading experience.

It gave more context to the readings so it felt less like a chore. I also felt like I wasn't scrambling to get the reading done beforehand, which removed some stress. I prefer it.

I liked doing the reading with a clear sense of what the main idea was and knowing what I was curious about from class so that I could look specifically for those. It also felt much less stressful to have them after because I didn't feel like there was that pressure to read before class today.

It certainly makes preparing for class less stressful, which is well appreciated given the workload of this program. However, I also feel that I may not hold myself accountable unless there is a discussion on the lessons in class. I found myself struggling to relate the content of the readings to course discussion of the previous session without it fresh in my memory.

This was an interesting approach to class readings, one I don't have an abundance of experience with. I enjoyed completing the course reading after already engaging the concepts/materials in class, but I did feel like I was "outside of my comfort zone", perhaps just because this is a new approach for me. All in all, 4/5 stars.
