-How the main library collection citertia differs from the health science library collection. 
-How the age of items affects the status in the collection with weeding.
5. -This will help me learn how to evaluate an academic collection, as I do not currently work in an academic library. 
-As a native to Greenville, this will help my understanding with building a collection based on community analysis.  This will demonstrate the importance to the community analysis part of this project and allow me to see the link in the analysis and setting in real time.
-This is a diverse and impressive library that must accommodate the research needs of many levels of degree seeking students, so. it will demonstrate the importance in choosing resources in various topics while also accommodating budgetary limits.

What I hope to learn about this library: 
-The policy regarding collection development and how the selection process works for my library. 
-How the budget is allocated. 
-What about my community is reflected the collection. 

Since I selected the library system I currently work in, I think it will be really enlightening to see what shapes the collection process, since I am directly affected by the collection process. I think demystifying the process will actually allow me to serve my patrons better since the insight I will gain may make me able to answer specific questions about the collection more clearly. I also think gaining a fuller understanding of the community we serve will allow me to make the limited choices I have about my own location’s collection from a more informed perspective.

This is my 2nd year as the media coordinator and I am excited to lear

4. I am excited to really analyze my collection so I can learn the best way to further the benefits for my students. I really want to focus on the nonfiction section. I know from a little previous research that most of the books are 20 years old.  I also want to learn more about the weeding process.
 
5. I am using the library where I am currently working. I choose my school because I love working there.  Also, our library has been neglected for many years and from a little research, the last time it was weeded was in 2015.  Also, new book purchases were kept at a minimum, so analyzing the data so I can best fit the needs of my students is the main goal!

4. What I hope to learn from this library is more about what the schools are doing so that our public library can be more helpful in how they can assist the students. I have been out of the school library over ten years, so this will let me see the changes that have happened over this time. I am also interested in seeing how Ms. Mann approaches collection development.

5. I selected this library because I couldn't choose the library where I work so this was the next best thing, I will be able to look at the community and get a better understanding of what is going on in the schools. This will let us better help the students and parents.
