Ms. Jeffries was my college counselor and I would have her for my first period every other day during Senior year. She had a way of lightening up the mood and always putting a smile on her students' faces. She was attentive and genuine with her support. When I came to her about my insecurities of applying to and potentially attending an out state school, she challenged me to apply to as many out of state schools and to reframe my narrative. I can only imagine how many other students she's impacted over the years at IDEA and in her community. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Ms. Jeffries was such a kind soul, full of light. I remember going to her office (a lot) just to chat with her, Valdez, and Melgoza (and because they always had the best snacks or food to share) She always saw the best in her students and reminded us that we had the potential to reach for the stars. She made a lasting impact on so many lives (including my own) Sending all my love, thoughts, and prayers to her son, Ethan, and all of her family during this time.

Ms.Jeffries was the best career counselour I could've had. I loved her very much! She supported me throughout my last year of high school (while being pregnant) she opened all the opportunities available for me. Thanks to her I was able to attend SNHU back in 2016 and graduate! I had no access to a laptop in that moment and she delivered one to me all the way to another state, because No Excuses! She Checked in with me throughout my career path and was always there to support. She will be missed. My condolences and prayers to her family.

Although Ms. Jeffries was not my direct college counselor, it still felt like she was. Even if we were not her direct student she would go out her way to get to know you and help you. She will forever have an impact on me. Such a sweet and kind heart. I will forever miss her.

Ms. Jeffries was the best person ever at IDEA Frontier. She helped me feel confident during the summer when I got scarred to leave home for college. She would often text me, call me, and connect me to other alumni at my college. She also connected me to my alumni manager, so that I had someone through my college journey. During the first year of college, I couldn’t afford to travel home for Thanksgiving and she came to visit me while on a trip of her own. She was a living angel to so many of us!!! May she rest in peace! 🫶🏽 🕊️
