Even if she wanted to, because of the education Sassur gave to Koly, she might have a job that can give her so much more money than in the fast-food industry, She is able to buy food and water with this money, even clothes. With the earrings that she has at the moment, she could sell them for a lot of money, and buy an apartment room with the money.
