On the other hand, Streams have been steadily rising since 2011 until 2018.
And finally, CDs have dropped sharply ever since 2011 up until now.
This demonstrates that Streams are now the preferred way of listening to music.

Even though, there seems to be a indication that CDs' sales fall will stabilize for a while and maintain a certain bottomline.

Firstly, since 2011 the music sales by streams has been constantly increasing, representing the highest sold method in 2018.
On the other hand, CDs have shown a significant drop over the years, going from the best-selling method, in 2011, to the least used one in 2018.
Finally, the third method of music sales, Downloads, started with a slight rise until 2014, followed by a slightly bigger fall until 2018.

From 2011 until 2018 there has been a 35% increase on streaming, from 5% until 40%. Although downloading increased 10% from 2011 until 2014, by 2018 it decreased to 30%, 5% less than 2011.
We can also understand that the amount of CD’s purchased decreased from 55% in 2011 until 25% in 2018. 
To conclude, we can definitely observe that back then people consumed music by downloading and purchasing CD’s, but nowadays streaming services are taking over, annihilating the ones used in the past.

The most used method in 2011 was CDs, and over the time has lost that place to Streams in 2018,
