1. Individually, come up with a set of safety rules in your neighbourhood by making a cartoon poster of it. Include a short explanation of why these rules are important to you personally. Feel free to refer to the "list of situations that may put you at risk" if you need help. (You may use Canva or any other relevant apps)

2. Upload them under your own patrol section. Include your name and class before uploading it. (Name_Class)

Guiding involves getting involved with other people. However, it is best to ensure that when getting involved with others, you don't put yourself in danger. Remember to stay alert to keep yourself safe!

Avoid situations that might put you at risk:

• Don't walk home alone at night

• don't let people know that you're at home alone

• Stay near busy roads and pathways

• avoid any shortcuts, or jaywalking, building sites, or in remote parks

• Keep to well-lit areas at night

• If you think you're being followed, go to the nearest house or shop and tell an adult or phone home

• If someone in a car asks for directions, stay polite but keep a safe distance and never get into the car. 

• If someone touches you inappropriately, scream, shout, and run to attract attention.
