I started out my freshman year very close minded and one-track focused. Although I had a passion for investing and market analysis, my father’s hopes for me to go to medical school is what made me stray away from such objectives. However, as soon as I turned 18, I downloaded my first brokerage app called “Robinhood” and started investing and learning with whatever money I would make from my on-campus jobs. Fast forward two years later; I started an organization called Artis Proficio Investing at the University of Georgia which has now blossomed to over 350 members. Finishing my undergraduate career an entire year ahead of my peers, I now have time to focus and refine this passion.
