Wet World water park Shah Alam start to open from 10 am to 6 pm. However I have to come 30 minutes earlier before 10 am in order to join daily exercise that has been organized by management to ensure all the staff can maintain a good performance during work and stay healthy. 

while I'm in my interviewed session, I also have been introduced to all staff whom I will work with. Due to there is a lot of maintenance that need to be monitored all the time, most of the workers in Wet World Water park are man and most of them are foreigner workers.

For my first day of training, I have been placed at ticketing department or customer service.

I have to learned how to handle and serve the customers. At first I just need to watch how to sold the ticket to customers and learn how ticketing system is functioning.

The staff didn't ask me to sold the ticket to the customer by myself. This is because I might make a mistake if I'm not fully well learned. Even though its quite a bit difficult to learn but slowly I understand little by little.

There's a lot of new things I've got learn from him on how to communicate with customers who wanted to rent the entertainment in Wet World Shah Alam.

In Wet World Waterpark Shah Alam, there is 3 rides for customer can play. First is the longest and fastest slide which called as Monsoon Buster.  Second is Thunder River which customer can enjoy  and relax while they being carried  by the water until reach at the end of the pool and third is Super Hurricane which the slides is look like a 'gasing' which made the customer going around over the slide until reach at the end of the pool.

However, to rides these 3 rides, customer have to rent the double tube first before they can play the rides. While waiting for the exercise session started in 15 minutes, I still got time to eat my breakfast before join the exercise. The management also provide a small pantry for us to have our meals. 

Everyday, our daily exercise was guided by our manager Madam Gok support with music. Due to our manager is Chinese, our exercise is likely more to "Taichi". Everyday, our exercise also have different style. Sometime we have to jump, sometime we have to run and sometimes we might have to crawl like animal as a benefit to let our blood flows throughout the body. 

Even it so tired doing this exercise,  however the idea of management to provide daily exercise is not only can give healthy but also can create bonding among us.

After done the exercise, we can continue our job as usual. For my second day of training, the staff teach me how to prepare the ticketing counter before we start our operation. 

First of  all the computer must be on and log in everyday in order to run the ticketing system. Then I have to prepare the available ticket that can be sold to customer.  Credit card machine  also need to always on and connected to the internet.

After all the preparation is done. After 2 days learned and watch how all the tickets is sold to the customers, today it is my first day I sell the tickets to the customers. 

At the beginning it felt so difficult to handle and serve the customers. This is because everything need to done faster. We cannot let the other customers to wait for too long. 
 
In addition there's also have a lot type of tickets that I need to be remembered before I sell it to the customers. In this Wet World Waterpark Shah Alam, there's 8 types of ticket that we have sold to our customers. For example Adult Mycard, Child Mycard, Adult Non-Mycard, Child Non-Mycard, Senior Citizen, OKU, Complimentary tickets and Matta Fair. 

For children's fee entrance, firstly the children must measure their height first before buy the tickets. This is because, In Wet World Shah Alam the children's ticket is measured based their height not by their age. The range of children height is between 90cm to 130cm. If the children is above than 130cm they are considered as an adult.

Furthermore, for senior citizen and  Disable Customers, they also have special price for their entrance. however, before they can have the special price offers, they have to show the ID card first.

Even though all the serve need to be run quick, I also have been remind to be very careful while handling customer's money. During this day, I start to learn how to use credit card/debit card machine as another payment method for customers to use besides using cash.  

It is not too difficult to learn how to use the machine, because before this I've been use this credit card machine while I'm taking a part time job. 

The ways of using credit/debit card machine is same. I just need to enter the amount and insert customer's bank card or pay-wave. But, before I settle the customers payment, I also have to ask her permission whether they want to enter their pin or just using pay-wave.  At the end of the day of working, I also have to ensure that the settlement from credit card machine is printed.

Even though it is easy to use I also need to be alert to always remark customer's bank card number as our references on ticketing payment system.

If I make a mistakes or not entering the reference number I will have trouble to finish our daily sales report.

During this day it is difficult to me to understand. This is because every online tickets have a different steps that I need to be remember while I redeeming the tickets for customer.

In Wet World Shah Alam, there is 6 of online tickets offers for customers that I need to remember. For example, Fave, GoTicket, Buffskit, Only Ticket, Entertainer and Travelog. All this type of online tickets also have different step for redeeming. 

In addition, due to the ticket price from online is more cheaper than walk-in, customers often use to buy through online rather than buy through walk-in.

 However for customers who want to buy the tickets through online they also have to follow the term and condition before they can redeem the tickets at counter. The ticket online must be purchase one day before the day of entrance. If the customers buy the day of entrance the ticket is not valid. Moreover online tickets also not valid on public and federal holiday.

It is not true if I am just okay to being treat like that. However as a customer service I have always to stay calm and act professional while handling this problem customers. Today, Its about a week I've been acknowledge on how to prepare the report once Wet World Waterpark is closed at 6pm. However I just learn and watch how the report is been completed.

In this report, It shown all the total sales on every kiosk in Wet World that need to be filled. After all the sales system on every kiosk is closed, The total sales of every kiosk are needed to be fill in the report. 

Due to this report will be given to the Headquarters, I shouldn't have make a mistakes. 

Today it was my first time doing a cash sales report. Even though sometimes it was a bit difficult to understand but due to guidance from my colleague, I manage to complete the report perfectly.

However the staff never get mad at me or punish me. Even though I have make a lot of mistake while taking care ticketing counter, they still trained and give me new knowledge with patient. 

Due to all the mistakes I have done, now I've got better understanding on doing my job without making the same mistakes. Besides rental the double tube, Wet World Shah Alam also provide a locker for customers to keep their belongings in safety. There is also have a 2 types of lockers that customers can rent. First is one time use locker which is only RM5  using token and multiple use of locker which is RM30 without deposit.

For customers who want to rent the locker, I have to explained to the customer carefully to ensure they understand on how to use the locker. 

Besides for customers who want to have place their own place to stay and relax with their family they also can rent the cabana at counter tube

In addition, Counter tube system also can record all the total sales that has been earned.

 In counter tube systems, all the button to rent double tube, locker and cabana are already provide to easier the cashier. the cashier just need to click the button in counter tube systems and scan customer's wristband to allow them rent the belongings at Wet World Shah Alam. For locker, If customers have a problem to use the locker especially token locker I will guide them on how to use the locker using instruction that already pasted in front of the locker door.

Everyday before closing the gift shop I need to make sure gift shop is back to it tidy and clean shop.  Before starting the weekend, Uncle Selva will always  check the stock at gift shop especially on junk food and ice cream whether it need to be restock or not. If the stock at gift is currently low, Uncle selva will go to storage room to take new stock to be filled at gift shop.

When every time uncle Selva bring the new stock, I will help him to reload the stock.

When its done, the stock that has been taken out from storage room must need to be record on how much the stock is taken.

In Wet World Shah Alam there is 2 types of Cabana that customers can be rented. First is called Cabana Gold and Second is Cabana Silver. 

However the differences of Cabana Gold and Cabana Silver is, only Cabana Gold has mini fridge and safety box for customer to use and the price between both Cabana is also different.

So in order to ease the Audit, Uncle will count and recorded all the stock left. Due to all the stuff at Gift Shop is a lot, I have volunteered myself to help uncle to finish calculating all the stuff.
