A community that accepts everyone for who they are, regardless of their flaws or differences, their gender, sexuality, race, religion, language, personality....etc. Everybody benefits from the progress of the nation, has a say, a stake and a sense of belonging. And it is one where everyone aspires to do better through their own efforts and feels that he or she has a real chance to move up.

Why do we need to have an inclusive community?
We want everyone to feel loved, validated, respected and valued. It keeps the community united and strong, so it can continue to grow and prosper. 
An inclusive community values all its members and helps them to meet their basic needs so that they can live with dignity, engage actively, and contribute to their community. Municipalities can support inclusive communities in social connectedness and belonging, age-friendliness (e.g. seniors, youth, etc.) and welcoming communities. Inclusive communities are welcoming to diverse groups of people, including, but not limited to, seniors, youth, children, Aboriginal Peoples, immigrants and newcomers, persons with disabilities, people experiencing mental health challenges, and low-income populations. Social inclusion can impact both the physical and mental health of community members, including their life expectancy, infant mortality rate, and mental health.

We understand inclusive community as a community that does not exclude one another and treat those of the community the same. We must treat them equally and support each other in times of need. I also think that an inclusive community does not exclude those of different race, religion, gender etc. It is also able to cater to different people and it is also a welcoming community 

It is needed so that everyone feels welcome and at ease In their own community. Thus, this leads the community to be strong and united as one and able to ace many challenges or obstacles
