I strongly disagree with it. To my mind summer holidays is the time when children can finally have a rest, spend time with their friends and family, practice school program, visit some interesting places and learn something new. 
I had wonderful holidays last summer!✨😍I met with my friend. We walked, talked a lot and just had good time. Also that summer I took part in 2 gratifying festivals.💃🤩    But the best thing was my trip to Turkey. It was amazing! 
 That's why I think, we should have long summer holidays to learn something new, visit interesting places and just have a rest.

also, usually in the summer, all children take a break from school. for example my summer was full of all sorts of adventures with friends. the phrase itself that they want to reduce the holidays shocks me

I think this is outrageous. 
I strongly disagree with their article because i don’t see a single reason for making those holidays shorter. Most of the pupils in school, especially my age, have a lot of responsibilities . The summer holidays are a great way to take a break, to do things that you like to do and to spend some quality time with your family or friends.
From my own experience i can confidently say that most of the summer holidays were very beneficial to me. I went to a summer camp almost every time, and there i got to meet with people that i already knew, and also to get to know some new ones. This summer I’m planning to go to a driving school, and it’ll be impossible to graduate from there if holidays were shorter.
So in my view, shortening summer holidays to any extent is unreasonable and stupid, and i won’t change my opinion on that.

Summer holidays open up many opportunities for children.  First of all, of course, it is to relax, because children are not robots.  And make new friends and do something new!  
So I once met a girl during the summer holidays and we are friends to this day!  And then I started doing something new!  
in general, the summer holidays are a lot of opportunities, pleasant experiences and moments!

So, why not? What are the benefits of long holidays? I will talk about it in my post and share my personal experience!
  BENEFITS:
We all want to relax, right?
And the kids want it too!  kids need summer break to get away from school, tests, and grade worries.
During the holidays, children can spend time with their friends, and do many activities that they do not have time for during their studies!  Children can spend more time with their families, especially if their parents work a lot. All in all, they will have time to prepare for the next school year.
In addition, I personally think that the children will rebel if the holidays are shortened, which will cause a lot of problems for schools and the state.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
Like all schoolchildren, I do not want the holidays to get shorter, especially since this is my chance to spend more time with family and friends.
Especially with the family, my dad is currently living abroad because of his work, and only in the summer we have a chance to visit him.  So the shorter the holidays, the less some children can see their loved ones!

‼️ In conclusion, I want to say that vacations are an important component of the life of every student, and this component cannot be simply reduced ‼️
