This video discusses many people who came out saying that they have worked with aliens and alien technology at Area 51 as well as different cases where things have happened that tied to extra-terrestrial creatures, such as the Roswell UFO incident.

A red flag that this video may connect to would be proof by verbosity.  A great example of this was that Boyd Bushman claimed to have worked at Area 51 and showed lots of images and articles proving that aliens exist at Area 51.  People may believe this to be true due to simplicity because it makes sense that an employee may have taken a photograph of an alien.  This instance could relate to the red flag confirmation bias, because you go along with your beliefs and forget to use critical thinking and to challenge your opinion.  A flaw with this video is that they can’t show proof who worked at Area 51. 

In this video, Dave Rubin interviews Jeremy Corbell about Area 51 and what might be going on, inside this heavy guarded and restricted area.

 A reason for belief tied to this video could be agenticity.  This is because Jeremy related us having contact to aliens when fast flying aircraft's flew over Washington D.C in the 1950’s.  Jeremy also cannot prove that this was true.  This video connects to confirmation bias because many people will agree with Jeremy that aliens exist inside of Area 51 because Bob Lazar said that he worked on reverse engineering alien aircraft's at Area 51.  They may believe this because it goes along with there beliefs.  If we apply critical thinking to this video, we need to do more research on Bob Lazar in order to believe what Jeremy is saying.  

The link is a short video clip on YouTube that discusses some of the possibilities about what is going on at Area 51 in Nevada, U.S.A.  The video includes text about what the author thinks along with video clips to enhance the viewers experience.

This video connects to the red flag suppressed by authorities.  They claim that the government says that it was simply a weather balloon and not a UFO, implying the government is trying to hide something. Applying critical thinking to this video, we need to look at the evidence and think about how truthful it could be.  Some might believe this due to the simplicity factor.  It is very easy to simply believe that UFO’s and extra-terrestrials are inside of Area 51.  A limitation with this website is that it anybody can post anything.  

This object is a website called 'Dream Land Resort' devoted to reporting the happenings of Area 51, also known as dreamland over the last 60 years. This website is the self proclaimed ultimate guide to all things area 51.

Connection:
This website connects to unexplained because it represents all of its information as proof that aliens exist and propagates the idea that aliens are either being brought to or traveling to Area 51. This connects to the unexplained belief because the people who run this site don't have scientific proof or verified claims. They are just choosing a narrative that best fits the situation that find the unexplained.

This object is a website called Britannica talks about Area 51, its history, and the misconceptions the led to it being labeled as a major hub for alien life as well as the numerous conspiracy theories surrounding the location. 

This website connects to the unexplained as it refers to the way in which people gave meaning, and assumed possible reasons for the sightings that were being reported in the area without and evidence to support it. The website goes on to explain that during the 1950's the us government was conducting high altitude aircraft tests in the area. These tests on high altitude aircraft flew at such greater heights in comparison to the common aircrafts of the day, that people began to assume that they had to be advanced spacecraft of alien origins. This website also connects to Critical Thinking as it tries to explain all of the findings and theories with historical facts rather than any doubtful claims.

This object is a small website called Area51.org. iT is a paranormal website focused on alien life, UFOs, and of course, Area 51. This website has many articles ranging from explaining what Area 51 is and answering frequently questions regarding the information about the guards who work at area 51.

This website connects to unexplained and simplicity. This website connects to the unexplained belief in the same way many UFO websites tend to. It represents its ideas and theories as possible proof that aliens exist and that Area 51 could be a secret hub for the government to test alien technology.

This image connects to the unexplained reason for belief as well as the perception and observation reason for belief. Firstly, this image connects to the unexplained as it shows the immense size of Area 51, this helps to explain why people have begun to speculate on the activities inside. Due to the area's secrecy and unexplained activities people have began to come up with outlandish claims and spread them. This image also connects to perception and observation as over the years the people who have spread the idea of alien life at area 51 did so because they perceived the military actions and testing projects to be out of this world and impossible for the times, this lead them to believe the military was housing secret alien operations.

This is an image of the signs that are posted in and around Area 51 in Nevada, U.S.A. These signs warn visitors that it is a military installation and that it is illegal to enter the area and that filming and trespassing will result in harsh penalties ,and possible fines or jail time.

This image adds to the idea that the government has something to hide and that has led people to believe that they are housing aliens or alien technology. Due to the lack of communication between the government and the residents of the area, over the years signs like this, as well as less than friendly visits from men in camouflage uniforms, have led to distrust and misconceptions about the happenings of the military base.

2.      This topic is interesting for us as we've been skeptical of Area 51 since we was younger.  We like to believe that something is being hidden there from the public.  Although we have no proof to back it up, it is fun to believe that there could be some form of alien technology inside the military base.  

3.      We found the most interesting research was on the video in post 2.  This video was interesting because it talked about certain political representatives discussing highly advanced technology and it was fascinating that they knew about that technology.  

4.      From this research, we're most likely to remember that Area 51 is very controversial and although they say it was a weather balloon that crashed into the ground and not a UFO, we must use critical thinking and not allow ourselves to believe that we have all the answers to everything.  We will always remember to be skeptical when reading articles from various news outlets.  

5.      We think the least harmful pseudoscience topic would be astrology.  We believe this because lots of people believe astrology is real and read and believe their horoscopes.  Although this can lead them to make poor decisions, it isn’t nearly as harmful as other pseudoscience beliefs.   We think belief in medical pseudoscience’s such as homeopathy is the most harmful as people may get seriously enjoyed or killed over trusting this type of medicine to work.  

6. If we could pass on my knowledge to a friend or family member, we would pass on the knowledge to always think critically.  We think it’s very important to think critically before believing something.  You should always ask yourself, why do I believe?  It is, at all times, important to challenge yourself and be skeptical about things and that is what we would tell a friend or family member.
