Because the topic is so close to my heart and the fundamental reason I'm taking this degree, I wish I had signed up for the full-length semester instead of the shorter one. It may be because I've been so focused on learning design in the corporate arena; those classrooms have so little to do with people and their motivations. The context is flat, and the reasoning is all about human capital creation. I'm ashamed to say that the humanity of teaching is barely a consideration. This course has given me the tools to seek out my learners, consider them and bring democracy back into lesson design. I leave with many questions about myself and my personal philosophies, but I am armed with all the resources I need to continue developing my practice. So Sharmaine, that is the string you've armed me with for my bow :). 

I will surely see some of you in September as we continue this journey together.
