As transportation and communication continue to grow , societies are getting more and more alike resulting in globalization. Some people worry that globalization will inevitably cause the entire loss of cultural identity.

21st Century, a century of globalization where all the societies with different culture live together. Mostly, Western culture is sweeping away the traditions and culture of the society, affecting changes within the behavior and thinking of individuals of various society. It is understood that a culture loss seems too apparent in some communities where the most culture is weak. Many thinks that if this trend keeps happening , the worldwide diversity of culture identity is going to be lost forever. Societies think globalization may be a big threat because the young generation is sweeping away with different cultures mostly adapting the culture of western style, which unfortunately worry the societies as they think it will affect their culture and won't take time is the disappearance of their cultures and values they follow.

But this can't be true all the time. There is some positive influence on people or society because of globalization. Globalization is also a way to learn and explore the culture difference and so much more. Globalization gives us an opportunity to represent our culture ahead of the entire world and provides all different societies an opportunity to explore our culture. Nowadays different people from different society lives together in several culture society, so by seeing the encompassing culture shown by that society it gives an opportunity for the migrants to adapt and adjust with their culture and values as they will learn and explore that they're seeing in their surroundings.

As far as I’m concerned, globalization may be a chance for several nations to rework to a civilized nation with a refreshed system of values and identities, I don’t believe in the assumption that this new trend is explanation for disappearance of cultural identity.

                                                Đức Anh 9A15 – 9E16

In modern days, there are many kinds of children. The child star is concerned by many people over the world by their talents or beauties. Being a child star is very good for releasing your talents to the audiences. It helps child stars to improve their communicating skills and being confident to people. In normal children, they are always very shy in talking to people and fear of crowds. In my opinion, children need to have experience of being a child star. So, I agree for children to be a child star because of the growth of children. In this essay, I am going to introduce 3 main points: showing their talents, improving their speaking skills and economic rising for their parents.

The first idea is showing their capacities to the audiences. Like a normal child, they don’t like to demonstrate their special abilities. They would like to spend lonely times in their homes. Being a child star helps children to show their unique skills to people around the globe. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is the son of Cristiano Ronaldo always show his brilliant football skills, many people over the world really like his videos.

The next idea is developing their communication skills. Many child stars use social media to live stream to people. Many small streamers have great numbers of followers. For many people opinion, streaming can help children to be confident for presenting to people. Moreover, this activity can be very useful for child stars in the future.

The last idea is economic rising for their parents. If your child is a child star, you will earn lots of money because the famous of your child. In many countries, a child actor after a movie can earn over 250,000 dollars. This salary can help this actor to study over the school time.

To conclude, being a child star is a great experience for children to have talents development, communicate improvement and economic growth for their life. This work helps children to have a great step into their future.

Copyright by Pham Thanh Dat 9A15

According to wordometers.info, in recent years, the population has increased from eighty-one to eighty-four million people each year, which also means that many children are born. Among them, about 1 in 10 children will have the dream to become a famous artist. People often think it's good to be a star, have lots of money, have fans. It's true, but being a star when you're young is a bad idea.

Child star are all very famous when they were young but not all of them succeed when they grow up. In addition to acting, they need to focus on many other things like school or family work. Ideal child stars can be great when they're young, but Hollywood can finally decide that they will be good enough as they get older. When some child actors choose to go to college after becoming a child star, then try and do it after graduation, Hollywood may have forgotten them.

The next reason is about the pressure. At the age of 17 and lower, they are not yet formed psychologically to receive negative criticisms or comments about themselves as well as to receive dense schedules every week, which can be the cause of depression. Child actors can experience unique and negative pressures when working under tight production schedules. Large projects depend on their success on the ability of the child to provide an effective performance that adds to the pressure. Lexi Rabe, the actress who played Morgan in "Avengers: Endgame", spoke out against online bullying when she and her mother were backbite by social media after her fan was upset that they couldn't talk to Lexi at a shopping center in Los Angeles.

In conclusion, it's not good to be a star at such a young age. they need to be mentally ready for what they need to face. Ideally, they should enter the entertainment industry as an adult.

English has been known to be the international language since the 20th century. However, there are many people who said that this change is harmful to other languages. From my point of view, I strongly believe that the globalization of English is quite beneficial in general.

Firstly, with English as an international language, we are able to communicate with other people of different ethnicity with relative ease. For instance, without the help of an international language (English), the US government wouldn't have been able to calm the ISIS leaders down after the attack on Benghazi by the US army. This led to a short period of peace between the two parties. Even though it was short-lived, it proved that peace can be established with determination and a droplet of luck.

Secondly, English is a relatively easy language to learn and use effectively. English's alphabet mainly consists of letters from the latin alphabet, whose letters are similar to many languages around the world. In addition, the grammar of English is not too hard to master, and English is very tolerant for people who usually make mistakes, as a sentence's meaning in English is not only determined by its grammar. Moreover, English does not convey the genders of the speakers, the listeners, or other people. To talk in the first person, we only use "I" to refer to ourselves and "you" to refer to the people we are talking to in English, whereas in other languages such as Vietnamese, we have to take into consideration who we are talking to.

In conclusion, I believe that the global spread of English is quite beneficial to everyone as we have the ability to communicate internationally and English is fairly easy to learn.

Globalization is extremely important to each country’s development as it leads to global political and economic integration. Although it is undeniable that this trend creates business internationally, globalization is not always appreciated by people who value cultural identity.

To begin with, globalization plays an important role in developing each country’s economy. It inevitably improves communication between people all around the world through means such as calls, Internet and emails. Internationalization can help improving many people’s lives in places that are still struggling with social problems by reducing border restrictions, creating common payment formats, and reducing export barriers. According to the World Bank (*), poverty has been reduced by 35% since 1990; furthermore nearly 1.1 billion people have moved out of extreme poverty since 2010.
The dark aspect of globalization creates a concern about cultural identity. Although this trend has made cultural diversity more accessible, it also began to blend different cultures together. Youth today tends to concentrate on learning from dominant countries instead of maintaining and developing their traditional cultures. As a matter of fact, many communities in Africa and South America abandon their mother tongue to speak English or other languages in developed countries (**). Although these circumstances are understandable due to the popularity and importance of dominant languages, there are still some countries which do not lose their mother tongue due to economic benefits such as Vietnam. Globalization is not the only cause of the loss of identity; each individual is responsible for being aware of and keeping the unique culture of their nation. As long as people respect and develop their culture identity, their culture will not be saturated, regardless of globalization.

To sum up, globalization is beneficial to every country. However, it is essential for people to learn from different cultures while still maintaining their own cultural identity.
(*) https://www.worldbank.org/en/topic/poverty/overview

(**)https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20140806012946-244066759-does-cultural-identity-get-lost-due-to-globalization

For extra info:

https://velocityglobal.com/blog/globalization-benefits-and-challenges/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUYNB4a8d2U

When we talk about the topic “children”, we always think about the privilege, the gender equality,… These are society’s vices that can harm the children, but have you ever think about how to teach children so they can protect themselves? Nowadays, there are many famous children, most of them become famous because they are very talent in some aspect, others become famous because of what they do and say in the internet or real life. There are many different discussions about should we make children become child stars and in my view, we shouldn’t.

I know becoming a child star can have a lot of incentives. The talent of a child can be discovered and exploit so it will help them in the future or they can earn some money and support their family financial situation. If they become actors, they will also help their country to develop the film industry. Despite the positive side, become young celebrities will make the kids surrounded by publicist, co-stars,… They have to confront with cameras and microphones and face thousands of haters and enablers in the internet. This is not a good environment to grow a young pure innocent mind and soul. Children are young and naïve they can either be arrogant because of all the love and sweet comments about them or they let themselves to be influenced by haters, enablers and therefore feel insecure about their appearance, wealth, family, etc. Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and the star of Home Alone – Macaulay Culkin can be listed as examples of the negative side of how the attention influences the children when being a child star.

The next thing I want to say is the danger when become a child star. When they become famous, the kids will get a lot of attention from many people and the more people know about a child the more danger the child has to face. We have to admit that there are a lot of bad people in the internet and when these kids grab their attention, they can do bad things to the child like blackmail, insult, cyber bullying or even kidnapping and child abusing. In my opinion, It’s too dangerous to become famous or viral in the internet for a child.

In conclusion, I think we have to focus on teaching children how to protect themselves and prevent them from taking any risk until they are mature enough to go out and explore the world in their own feet.

Nowadays,English has a crucial role in global communication. With the globalization, English becomes even more widespread as it is used in global commerce, communication, education and so on. A lot of books and newspapers on the world are written in English, plenty of movies and songs are shown in English. People have to learn English for work, for study, or even for relaxation. However, a lot of languages in the world, especially minority languages are facing the crisis of vanishing because of this tremendous popularity of English. Because of that, some people came up with the question:” Is the popularity of English a danger to other minority languages.” .My answer is “No“.

First, although English is an international language but is not as popular as the native language for countries that has their own language. For example, Vietnam is one of the countries that can still keep its native for over thousand years despite the existence of other languages that included English. People of the countries that have their own language are too familiar to the native languages that they have known since long time ago. Therefore, making English as the native language is almost impossible.

Second, countries’ native languages represent the countries’ pride as all of them are unique and show one of the best thing about their nations. Their languages also represent their inner voices and spirits. Back to the past, when the nations were trying to conquer one another. Those countries that were conquered could still rise up again as long as they can keep their native languages.

In conclusion, the popularity of English has a great impact on the world as it helps people from all around the world to understand each other much better. However, people wouldn’t forget their own pride just to communicate better.

It is very important to every country in economics and power. But to people who embrace their own traditional cultural, they aren't ready to embrace globalization in the fear of their culture being loss forever.

Firstly, globalization has change the world so much in the last century it is almost unrecognizable.

When it comes to fame or being a star, it is a common thought that actors, singer, inventors, etc. are related to such privileges. At the beginning of cinematography emergence, movies were mainly casted by adult actors. Soon, the needs for a younger actor were requested to fit in certain requirements in some movies to add up to the dramatical aspect of the film. Movies and series such as Star Wars or Sheldon have shown and used children as actors and actresses. However, risk are always on step behind and is inevitable. These are children are on the doorstep of fame but are also on the carpet of risk which leads to a debatable question, should children become child stars?

It is an absolute truth that the entertainment industry will grant many beneficial perks. Not just recognition but riches as well. For children, their young and pure souls can’t resist such profitable deal. Imagine being a kid and now someone give you the chances of being rich, living in a life amongst the wealthiest, none could ever resist that. This would grant a great start in life for them, allowing them to manage and achieve many things most youngsters can't. Not just benefiting the child, but their parents also are affected by this effect. Kids Youtube channel such as EvanTV - A toy reviewing channel - has made over 13 million dollars in the length of a year. Aside from the payment and makings, the filming or shows that the child appear on give them a strong confidence boost. These children tend to act extremely active and positive. All of this is what all kids dreamt of since their birth. The thirst of being famous and wealthy is something man can not hide from.

Against a substantial positivity there is always a down sides to balance the situation. "Higher the reward, higher the risk" legend has it. Owning significant amount of money and recognition, children are prone to thief, abuse or even black mailing as they can't defense themselves due to their lack of experience in life. Mentioning abusing, kids are also exposed to the exploiting use of a company. They can go through stress and demands that they can't handle. This however is not the only stress source. The social media and the community can have detrimental effects on a child star and growth. For example, the Young Anakin actor in the Star Wars Original Trilogy, Jake Lloyd suffer from PTSD and schizophrenia because of the backlash from the mainstream media and kids around him. Such fatal flaws can affect a child and their whole future because of only a few minutes of acting in a scene, no matter the reward.

To close the case, it can be said that acting is a high risk, high reward career, with the chances decreasing if the actors is unexperienced whom are mainly children. With the coming of a mass communication age, people are more exposed to the community, which will require many consideration, especially for kids to apply for such expertises.

-Phan Huy Hoang-

About Jake Lloyd:
https://www.nme.com/news/film/star-wars-young-anakin-skywalker-actor-jake-lloyd-875301

Being famous is surely a great thing, therefore many people are trying to become famous. Some famous people that have kids try to give their kids opportunity to become famous right when they are young. That leads to a question, should children become a child star?
Becoming a child star can affect many things in the child life, both positive and negative. On the positive side, the child talent can be discover early and children can learn how to make money out of it from a really early age and they can prepare for their future early. Having to care less about the children future do help the parent by a bit. But on the negative side, becoming a child star at an early age could affect the child school work, family work and maybe their life style. Affecting the child life style is normal but it could cause some negative thinking to the child. Even though the child could learn how to earn money from an early age but their money would probably goes to their parent, without their parent or knowledge about spending money they could be spending money in the wrong way. And they could be using their fame to bully other child.
So, in the conclusion, children becoming a child star have both positive and negative side, but those shouldn't become a child star to focus on school work and family work and they should be a star later on on their life.

What does it mean to become a star? Becoming a star means you will have money, becoming a star means you will own all that is considered the flashiest of life... That's why a lot of people wished they could be famous. Being a celebrity or a star gives us a lot of things but is being a star suitable for children?

We can clearly see the flashy of being a star. When we step out off the door, all gazes will focus on us, every lens, every camera and phone will point to us. Every intermittent blink of the camera and phone shows us who we are. Lady Gaga once said that she belonged to others when she went out. It seems that her life does not belong to her, it belongs to the lens, it belongs to the fans and to the public- who are always watching at her every word and every action. You will encounter some fears and problems that you are helpless to against them when you become a star. That life does not allow you to have the freedom that normal people have; it forces you to live hypocrisy because that is what the public wants to see in you. Standing under the public nose- whose allow themselves to talk about everything about you, from your family, your relatives, who is your boyfriend, who is your girlfriend and everything from you. In recent years, many famous people have committed suicide when they can no longer withstand the pressure of the media and the public.

Facing such risks, a child of course should not become a star too soon. As a child, they don’t have enough the insight and knowledge to stay away from the temptations that can come to them when they are famous. Being famous and making money will make children ignoring school activities. The criticism of the crowd, earning money too early or the media attention makes children think that they are the center of the universe, drop out of school. Not only that, when children become famous or become a star too soon, they won’t have time to spend for their family while the family is a pillar and the mental support for children. When becoming a child star, those children are not normal person anymore and it’s means that they will have an unusual childhood too. These children will be under pressure that normal people don’t have, those children won’t be allowed to play like normal children, won’t learn like normal children and will also run out of time for themselves. They are raised and matured under the pressure and supervise of the public. When their other friends live a life without worries anything, those children are surrounded by phone and camera.

However, not all stories about a child star also end with alcohol and addiction. Actress Emma Watson was also a famous star from an early age for her role of Hermione in harry potter. Up to now, she still maintains herself, participates in human rights activities and she has inspired a lot of people. Overall, becoming a child star is not all worst. Becoming a star from a young age is the foundation for children's future and career, helping them to discover and promote their talents as soon as possible. Showbiz has a lot of temptation, but it is also where welcome all those who have dreams and talents to shine, to rise to a star. Children also have the basic right to express and receive the fruits they deserve - if they are alert enough and strong enough to grasp, but so that a child star can stand and receive the love of the public is safe, maybe they will have to wait a long time, or if they are, they are precious and brave gems.

The concept of a child being a star is mess up already, they still young, clueless and have no responsibility about their life yet. Sometimes their stardom is due to their actual acting and singing talent. But a lot of time it is due to their cuteness and likability. Giving them a lot of popularity at a young age could ruin their life

Despite the inhumane of this action, you can't really argue against all of the biggest hit in the cinematic industry. Most of my favorite movies have children in it, we all love children so it make them go really well with the spotlight, but nothing last forever once they grow out of their child phase there is really nothing left for them. Most of child star grow up have to struggle with drug and sexual abuse. There also other lucky child star who know how to take their chances and become a really great influencer.

If they even manage to do that there also the pressure the child put on there family. First of all raising a child star isn't easy they could be really greedy and the parent could get a bad reputation of living of their child money. Secondly the siblings in the family will be constantly compare to there more popular one, this create a barrier isolated the star child because it's hard to find some one to share their problem with.

Should children become a child star? I don't care, is their choices and if family and friends are full supportive I don't see why not.

Movies and television fascinate us as do as the celebrities who act in them. They influence what we wear, what we eat and even where we want to live. This is an industry that makes millionaires out of people who once were ordinary but should children really be encouraged to take part in it?

Childhood is a very special point in the life of a human being. We spend about 17 years being children and from that point onward we are adults. This comes with a lot of responsibilities and expectations. For children in entertainment, childhood is not as simple as that. They are in the public eye at all times and are expected to look a certain way. Children who were praised for their good looks can be subjected to harsh criticism once they get acne or put on weight as teens.

Being an actor or singer is often a full time job even if the guild stipulates that half of the working day is all they are allowed to work. This is because the remaining hours are often filled with dancing, acting and singing lessons to make the child as good as possible. They are often homeschooled to ensure that their education fits in for the rest of their lives.

Child-stars who have become well-known for a very particular role often have difficulty transitioning into adulthood. Audiences often do not want to see them play new characters or sing new types of music which can encourage them to attempt outlandish things to be taken seriously as adults. This often become a “knife of their life”. The rate of suicide among former child stars is especially high as a result of this. While there have been cases where people who got an early start in entertainment continued to have normal lives, many more have ended tragically.

In the world that we are living in, societies are on the way to become closer together than ever and easier to share many things in common under global forces. For example, Western civilization is taking over developing countries, changes the behavior and thinking of a certain number of people. Therefore, I come to the question: Does the globalization results in the loss of cultural identity?

In the last few decades, many communities living in Africa and South America have abandoned their mother tongues to speak English or another language of the other dominant culture. Therefore, it is understandable that a cultural loss seems to be obvious in some communities where the cultural mainstream is too weak. Many are thinking that if this trend keeps going on, the global diversity of cultural identities will be lost forever. To me personally, globalization is the natural evolution of mankind and cultural identities are as present as ever.

However, cultural identity is established upon core values that are shared and improved for a long time of development of a society. These values include language, genetic traits, literature, customs and habits and many other values that make one community different from the others. Several economic benefits we earn or a fashion trend we adopt from other cultures. English, for example, is an important and popular foreign language in our country Vietnam. However, the Vietnamese mother tongue never disappears or loses because of its valuable quintessence and rich nuance that Vietnamese generations have built.

Moreover, another example can be seen clearly between American and Vietnamese culture. American people's values are based on individual freedom and hard-working. The Vietnamese, on the other hand, tend to build values on spending more leisure time for family, taking care of children and reaching a communal consensus rather than an individual decision.

According to my way of thinking, globalization is a chance for many nations to transform into a civilized nation with a brand new system of values and identities. Therefore, in conclusion, I don’t believe that globalization is the cause of the disappearance of cultural identity.

We are now in the age of 4.0 technology, of cyber physical systems and cognitive computing. In this point in time, globalization and connection between countries and people are extremely important and extremely essential. Though, every country has always have their very own cultural differences. But now, since globalization is happening, "Is globalization leading to the loss of cultural identity?" is the question that this essay is giong to be about.
Each and every country are different in their own way, they have their very own traditional culture that non others have. An example, Vietanmese traditional cultures can be things such as: Ao dai, pho, bun cha, banh mi, water musical, etc. But now that globalization is happening, some part of thecommunity was too into other cultrures that they themselves forget about thier country's tradiontional cultrure, even going as far as hating, discarding it.
One of the most efficent solution is that: We all will take what is good, what is best from other cultures to adapt into our own, but it does not mean we erase or remove our core traditional cultrure. We take, adapt the good, renew fogy, obsolete culture, we keep and improve the traditional cultrure. That is how people all over the world can balance between globalization and keeping cultural identity.
In conclusion, as long as people learn how to adapt, except and filter out cultural differences, core of traditional cultures. Then, the answer to the question "Is globalization leading to the loss of cultural identity?" is no.

The ideas of a child becoming famous when they are young could mean that their path is different than other children. The decisions when they are famous are much bigger and need more responsible. It could make them become better or turn them into a drug addict or an alcoholic.

Childhood is a very special place in all of us, most of us have an amazing childhood, playing soccers with our dad, watching mom doing stuff in the garden, congrats on our brothers for winning some tournaments. But when you are a child star, everything is different. The way things work, the ways the people look at you. Now you are not just an innocent kid anymore, now they are the face of the family or the face of a movie that can bring back millions of dollars. They are now being consumes by the societies, the consumption of the world.

Some parents decided to sacrifice their child for the famous and the money. This
brutality truth is not that rare. Even if they go to school, some famous child actors still have to fit up to 60 interviews into their daily schedule, “My entire school life was a living hell—and I had to do up to 60 interviews a day,” Lloyd once told the U.K.’s.

And in my personal opinion, think that they deserve a normal life like other children, but it is their choice to make.

TOPIC 2. Is the popularity of English a danger to other languages?

As english is growing and becoming one of the world’s most spoken language, many references has been made with the language. People in many countries nowadays have to study it for work, for study and even for relaxation. Many people are now worrying about the disappearance of other minority languages, and English would make them go extinct. In my opinion, with English being the global language, it would benefits us a lot.

Firstly, English is an always-changing language. Its always updated and around 4 hours one, a word is added to the language. This proves that English is a creative language and always change and make new things to adapt to the world. secondly, with the pronouns in English, “I” and “you”, it is easier to communicate, not as other languages such as Vietnamese, where you have to be really careful about manners of speaking.

Moreover, with English being an international language, other languages are not really affected at all. Every country has its own culture and language, which won’t be affected by other languages. Take Vietnamese, for example. Although being invaded by the Americans for 20 years, nothing has changed at all. The Vietnamese still have their language intact and also collect some words from English itself to enrich its vocabulary.

In conclusion, I believe that English doesn’t have any effects on other languages since other also learns from it. The global spread of English would be more beneficial to us than harm because we can communicate internationally and in one language and as English is needed in everyday life now, so I see this is an absolute win to have English as our global language. Besides, if a country can manages to keep its culture and language like Vietnam, surely no languages would go extinct

Nowadays, when globalization is happening dynamically, with a simple alphabet, uneasy to make mistakes, English is chosen to be the king of languages. Along with several benefits that this global language brings to the evolution of the economy, English accidentally creates risk and danger to some of the unpopular languages. There are controversies surrounding this issue, some argue that English is only the second language so it can not replace the mother tongue one but others insist that because of learning English needs much time and the achievements are better, people choose to ignore their original language

In society, anything that can not survive in a harsh environment will be excreted and it is similar to languages. Therefore, ancient characters were disappeared and it will happen in the same way with those languages which are difficult to write, to read, low utilization rate or in short, is outdated. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, McWhorter had this to say on the situation:

"It is easy for speakers to associate larger languages with opportunity and smaller ones with backwardness, and therefore to stop speaking smaller ones to their children. But unless the language is written, once a single generation no longer passes it on to children whose minds are maximally plastic, it is all but lost. We all know how much harder it is to learn a language as well as adults."

However, can the reasons above kill a language? And if the answer is yes, why is English also at fault? Let's go back in history, in World War I when England was conquering colonial countries, they urged the indigenous people to learn their culture and their language. Because that, even after those countries gained independence, they still keep using English as it had been ingrained in their culture. Some countries change their original language and choose English to become their mother tongue.

Let’s take an example, Singapore used to be a colonial country and itself is a multiethnic nation, Singaporean have to study both English and a mother tongue (maybe Chinese or Malaysian). Gradually, because learning two languages is too hard, they only study one and that’s English.

Another unintentional reason is both English and the USA are developed countries, they invest in many fields of less developed countries so to help the trade to go smoothly, those countries which were invested must use English to negotiate. Since then, English certificates become a compulsory request for people who desire to develop both internal and external.

Humans always want to catch up with new things, and English is able to respond to everything that a person needs for a language. In my personal thinking, the popularity of English is a danger to other languages.

Quyeen

It is the movement and integration of goods and people among different countries. Culture identity is the shared characteristics of a group of people, which encompasses , place of birth, religion, language, cuisine, social behaviors, art, literature, and music.

It’s easy to understand why there are so many people afraid that globalization is leading to the loss of culture identity. Many teenagers have the wrong and negative view about this. They think globalization, xenophile are luxurious and culture, traditional things are lame.

For the past decades, English has become the most popular language, as known as the most spoken one. This matter of fact is harmless, however, many others argue about English current state, as people believe that English might be a threat to other language. From my point of view, it seems that people are looking at the problem negatively, which is quite troublesome. The English language may have created impacts on humanity culture, however, the drawbacks it has is rather a mystery.

First of all, the popularity of English is reasonable for the society changes. Human is seeking for a stepping stone in communication, and English is the needed puzzle. English is known as the most simply language of all time, the phrases, the Latin alphabet and everything else make it perfect for anyone. Communicating through one very language doesn’t mean the others will be forgotten, it means human kind is having another big change, a big change in the history.

Secondly, languages are culture, are the souls of every each continent that could never be replaced. Every country has its own language, their culture and their beauty, so why would a single language be able to destroy such national beauty that easy? It is undeniable that people started to learn English more frequently, and other language might not be as popular as how it used to be, but there is a great notion, that English is an universal language, but every single other language is fundamental for the rise of English.

Every language out there is beautiful, gorgeous and unique in its own way. Having such a notion like English is destroying everything is the same as saying vaccine sucks. From the thesis I have pointed out, English is just doing its job and it have nothing to do with the destruction of other languages.

Most of us have got used to watching TV shows on the Disney channel since our childhood. If so, chances people have got used to Disney child stars as well. As an illustration, the famous actor Macaulay Culkin will always be remembered as the protagonist of Home Alone. Sadly, the public usually tags him as “ruin his life of becoming a child star”. Having said that, “If these children didn’t choose their career as a child stars, will there be such thrilling hits?”

Not to mention it is the ideal environment to demonstrate individual talents, enter the entertainment industry will grow the child’s independence and confidence at such a young age. Constantly appear in front of the cameras and the public will supply the child the proper social skills and the flexibility to manage a variety of circumstances. Moreover, if one can deal with the pressures, he/she would gain more maturity and self-determination as an adult. For instance, Justin Bieber, one of the most used example for the price children have to pay growing a child star, learned how to live his life now and spends time happily with his small family.

Despite all the benefits above being a child star, there are still common opinions agree that it will affect drastically to the children. To that end, it is necessary to relate to the question in the introduction. Imagine, if there is no one casting the children, it will no longer exist any children in any film (even when the protagonist is a child), no song with children’ voice, or any children shows.

In my opinion, child star is needed nowadays and we should face reality and find ways to improve child stars’ rights rather than stop them to deal with their own life.

Every stars and celebrities in the world gain a lot of attentions, love and compliments; they influence people around them and they make big impacts toward the world; these are the reasons why many people, especially children dream to be famous like them. However, everything comes with its risks; therefore, in my point of view, children should not become a child star.

Firstly, children are too young to handle a stressful life of a famous star that is lack both of personal space and healthy life mentally. We refer famous people as ‘star’ because star is flashy, shiny and extremely bold, exactly like the celebrities’ imagery that we always see. However, behind their public life, all the stars are actually struggling with pressure of keeping their perfect status and hiding their flaws. Furthermore, they also have numerous haters – who will try every way drag them down – and stalkers. They are blackmailed, cyber-bullied; they have no personal life since many people stalk them. For example, there were many suicide cases from K-Pop idols happened recently because of cyber-bullying, hatred and rough schedules. If an adult star cannot handle that much stress from judgmental public, then the child star can be in far worse problems because they are naive and have an extremely fragile mind and emotion.

Secondly, the celebrities’ working schedules are actually very tough and sometimes it is exhausting to keep on track with it. Children do not have good physical health compare to the adult, so that means child stars will have more problem with keeping on track with the plans. This leads to many consequences such as exhaustion and this is the weakness that child star’s haters will use to create the bad image of the child.

Childhood is an important part of life for children to live the fullest like other normal kids. Discovering children’s talent is needed, but it is better if parents guide them to discover it than putting children in a stressful life of a star.

Since long ago, we have been witness the fate of many famous child star from countless successful movies, getting reward by fame and money, only to end up being forgotten by the world. Being in such a young age, child star, in my opinion, should be able to pursuit their dream, getting guided in the right way with the right environment.

Firstly, while there are no doubt about whether or not did some of they gone astray, there are of course no doubt about what we have done to prevent them: nothing. Example like Macaulay Culkin are one that’s are a typical situation, where genius gone astray, develop substances addiction and bad habits, leading to their downfall and ultimately, their death. Yet, saying this as if it’s their fault for their own fate is far from the truth. They were once, children with heavy expectation and stress on their shoulder, lacking experience and maturity to cope with life, they were too young to know what do they want for the future nor how to pursuit them. They were children that have too much power in hand, and they grow greedy like any human would do. But, instead of stopping them, teaching them the right path, everything result in a big scandal. Suddenly, the world turn against them, and they panic, nobody teach them what is right or wrong, so they try again and screw up marvelously, again. They are a star, but before that, they are children, they need guidance and advices, and the people around them, especially their family, need to be that role for them.

Secondly, while have a dark side, child star have a bright side too. Ones who come out successful after their adolescent are promise with maturity, flexibility and experient that need years to achieve. They would have the confident in themselves and the work they put to the world, whether it is a film or a produce of they devote to. They would grow to be familiar with constant changes from the environment and constant attention from the crown. Able to stay calm during many situation due to their experience with acting and react faster than many. On top of all, even if they decide to take another job instead of actor/actress, they’ll have the percentage of being succeed higher, having many social ties and knowledge to boost.

Overall, i think that the beginning or end of a child star is unavoidable even if it is predictable. So the least we can do is support them, guiding them the right way and give them a memorable childhood.

plac English has been one of the most popular language on the world. 20% of the world population can speak english while 360 million people use it as their first language. There's no doubt that english is one of the most popular language on the world. Since it's so popular, will its popularity be a danger to other languages.
In my opinion, english can't be a danger to other languages. Firstly, it's because each language have it's own speakers. Each language is spoken in different countries. A language like english maybe speak as the first language at many countries but other countries still have their own native language and will be preserved by their native speakers.
Second of all, english isn't the most popular language. Its number of native speakers only place fourth on the five most popular languages. on the world..Chinese, hindi, spanish are three more popular laguage than english. English might be the most common language for businesses but chinese is now becoming more and more popular. English has always been thought to be an international language but it will not be the only international language. Along the powerful development of China, Chinese has become a necessary tool for each business man. This language is becoming more and more popular and I think it will be even more popular than english in the future.
In conclusion, English popularity is not a danger to any languages. There are many others popular one, the world is thriving and the need of communication doesn't just base on languages anymore. Each different language is a important part of culture. The language will be keep by the people who share the culture.

One of the most couraging sentences we use every day is “follow your dream”, and there’s nothing wrong with having a passion. But encountering showbiz with that little life experience might not be a great idea. Becoming a celebrity sure sounds interesting, but there are various problems with it that even adults can’t handle. There are two paths you might be dragged into, the positive and the negative.

Showing your talent to the world at a young age can lead you to be full of opportunity. Your talent being discovered can lead to success, money, fame,... Being able to have to confidence to follow your dream is not what everyone can have. Living the dream can bring you joy and happiness.

But in contrast, there are many problems accompany it. Most children cannot handle the harshness of showbiz. The netizen is very picky, small mistakes can be huge if you're not careful enough. There will be negative comments and some of it might even insult you. None of it will stop, and it can be dangerous because the mind of a child is fragile. One wrong move and it can ruin the child. Their personality, thinking, behavior,... all of it can change with a simple hate comment.

Overall, I don't support children becoming a celebrity because I don't think they can handle the harshness. There is so much to learn before joining such a chaotic world that is difficult to get out. You need prepration, not just skills, but prepare yourself mentally is important.

For the past few centuries, English has been one of the most popular language anywhere on Earth . The language is spoken in many different countries over the globe.
Many people think that English can be a big threat to other languages because they afraid that it can confine the development of them. However, I believe that English will have no effect on the other minor languages because of the following reasons.
First of all, each country has its own culture, custom and so as its own language. Although English can be very favored and widely spoken in a country, it's own native language can't be replaced. Let's take an example of my sister. She has been studying abroad in Canada for 4 years and she has to speak a lot of English. However, she never forgets her first and her mother language, Vietnamese since we have a call to each other every month in Vietnamese. As a result, English can't be a threat to any of the minor languages despite its huge popularity.
Moreover, with English to be a global language, it can bring us many benefits instead of giving drawbacks to other languages. If we are fluent in this particular language, it's very likely that we will be able to get high-rewarding jobs in the future. Since many great jobs that have very high salaries require English as the most important language, the probability of us getting them will enhance dramatically if we have good amount of knowledge of it.
In conclusion, not only English is not a threat to other languages in general, a good use of it can lead to successful working career in the future.

d cognitive computing.

TOPIC 2. Is the popularity of English a danger to other languages?
