         <description><![CDATA[<div>Response to Ms. Posten</div><div><strong>1.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; How should Ms. Posten explain the difference in the intended audiences of these writings?</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div>The intended audience for scholarly writing is geared to the readers of the of the article or manuscript which is usually members of the writer’s profession or within a similar scope of practice (Sewell, 2019)<strong>. </strong>Different styles of writing include Modern Language Association (MLA), American Medical Association (AMA) and as with scholarly nursing writing the American Psychological Association (APA) Although, the target audience may be related to the style of writing I.e., MLA, AMA, or APA it is largely dictated by the topic being written about (WritingclearScience, 2020).</div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>2.</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>What steps should Ms.Posten mention that are involved before the outlining of a scholarly paper can begin?</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div>There are several steps to take before beginning the outline of a scholarly paper. A writer needs to narrow their topic through researching peer-reviewed literature to determine their topic of research. They must write in a writing style that is appropriate for their nursing audience. The American Psychological Association (APA) style is the format that is recognized in the nursing field. (Sewell, 2019)</div><div>The APA style is a thorough criterion for scholarly writing to direct authors to fully understand how to write succinctly, intelligibly with understanding the rigors of this writing style. (Bouchrike, 2020)</div><div>The research of the chosen topic begins with the use of peer reviewed journals to ensure the validity of the collected data which, is followed by the selection the data processing tool that will be used such as, Microsoft word, google doc, and other word processing tools with the outline being the next step in the process of scholarly writing (Sewell,2019).</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>References:&nbsp;</div><div>-Bouchrike, I.
