Jacques Cartier treated the natives really good. He traded goods with them. So got new foods and goods from France. But when we left he took 10 natives included chief and both of his sons with him to show the king. He promise to returned them in four years. This affects the world the back then because it helped give the old world a better understanding of the new world and it also helped France claim Canada as a territory.

The natives really liked The natives really liked Jacques and welcomed him in. When he first arrived he traded fur, but he also offered knives and iron goods. The natives traded back to him domesticated animals, crops and cash. This effected France and Canadian natives because it give France new to breed animals and crops to grow. It affected Canadians because it them new materials to build with and new weapons to get food that is who it affected them and the world.

In 4 years Jacques Cartier come back to Canada and told the natives that he had failed them because all 10 ten expect one girl had died on the voyage. Aslo the natives turn hostile and killed 35 of Cartier's men. Cartier rushed to leave Canada and he never returned.

Jacques Cartier created culture blending by trade goods with the native from Canada which back then was known as the new world. Then he sailed to Canada in 1541 he took sail with 61 men and when they arrived in Canada they started trading goods right away Jacques traded weapons and iron good. The natives trade Animals and crops. The weapons that Jacques traded them were more advanced and easier to used then the ones they had available to them. The natives traded Jacques animals and crops. Those animals and crops Jacques and his men even all of france had not seen before. So they brought back different foods and animals to france to show them that they could put different cultures in their everyday lifestyle. That is how he created cultural blending.

Jacques Cartier voyage to the new world created cultural blending by trading goods to the natives in Canada. He traded with them weapons, iron goods, and food. The weapons he traded them changed the why the natives hunted forever. The weapons Jacques trade were more advanced and easier to use then the ones they had before. So the natives started to make their weapons more like ones Jacques traded them. Another way Jacques created culture blending is by bring the crops and animals the natives trade him back to France. France did not have the animals and or crops that Jacques acquired a long his voyage. So France natives got to see what the Canadian natives eat everyday. Those are a few ways Jacques Cartier created culture blending.

Did your explorer help claim land for a kingdom?- Yes Jacques Cartier helped claimed the land of Canada and this move more people from French to Canada.

Did this land they discovered or the journey they took lead to a colony being established?- It took till after the US revolutionary war for people to move there.

Why do countries colonize or decide not to?- Because it is a lot of money and that is why it took so long to colonize.

Why do people move to those colonies or not?- The reason being is because it was a really really long boat ride.

What happens to the native populations when countries colonize? *Generally… historically- The Native population really got taken over by the foreigners.

Their many reason the French explored. But the 3 main reasons were 1st a better understanding of the world. 2nd reason was the French explored was to find and get gold or other goods they could fine. The 3rd and final reason is glory they wanted to be the first to be the first country to colonize in the new world. They also explored because of god and they tried to spread christianity throughout the world. The 1st reason is positive because give people understand of the world and that positive. The 2nd reason is a positive impact because it made France a richer country. Their 3rd reason is glory and god this can be both positive and negative because the glory can be good but trying to spread christianity throughout the world is negative because some cultures believe in something else and didn’t believe in that and because of that it causes wars. So that is way the third reason both had positive and negative effects.
