Today, advertising has had an immense influence on the economy. They are prominent in everyday lives of people. Ads are now displayed on billboards, magazines, social media, and commercials on television. They are appealing and may persuade people to eat at a certain restaurant, listen to an album, purchasing the newest iPhone, and the list continues! Advertisements have increased consumption in the economy worldwide. Without ads there would be less engagement with businesses, products, and events.

As Stock Markets remain afloat, businesses are able to continue making large profits. People are able to invest in stocks and sell them, these are called stockholders. Today, the Stock Market gives an opportunity of prosperity and financial stability (Bramble, n.d, para. 6). Without it, many businesses may not be around today, trading may not be as popular, and many investments may have never taken place.

A middle class is a working social wok that lies between the low and highly paid (Madland, 2011, para.3). In the 1920's, however, the middle class was almost non-existent. Once the roaring 20's transpired, a middle class grew more and more. This was due to the introduction of credit, more affordable prices of products, more job offers, and higher income. Today, the middle class makes up about 50 percent of the American population.

The middle class has contributed to the growth of the U.S economy because more people are able to spend. In the past, the rich were always favored. But today, there have been policies made that benefit the nation as a whole.
