Meanwhile, Regionalism can be explained as an effort by a group of nations to increase interaction in economic, political, social, and cultural terms, which is carried out through various methods involving agreements.

The methods in question are Regional Cooperation, Regional Integration, Market Integration, and Development Integration. Concerning its continent, each country has a political sense that leads to highly volatile regional ambitions. The boundary maintenance regime also influences the course of African political, social, and economic practices.

With such uniqueness, it also makes African Regionalism seem like adopting European-style regionalism. However, African political leaders still need to have clear regional ambitions fully, so they continue to join regional governance without knowing a clear and lasting commitment to its policy implementation.
