My experience with SketchUp equips me with the tools necessary to create simple models, especially those without curvatures, as well as the tools for measuring to ensure precise measurements for each geometry of a specific model. It is a beginner-friendly 3D software, which allows for easy use and an intuitive UI layout design that does not overwhelm the user's experience. However, it lacks many features, capabilities, and limitations that the Blender 3D software has, like allowing users to connect two vertices or extrude curved faces.

Sketchup was a struggle at first as it doesnt have as many shortcuts as blender has (or its just that this is new for me). Eventually I managed to understand it. A great exposure to me for sure. I'm not fully satisfied with this first task result but it's fine, I'll improve more in the future of course.

I would say Sketchup is both good and a little frustrating for me. The good part is I can quickly build ideas in 3D. Adding textures and details makes the designs look more real. But on the other hand, when I try to push my designs further, the details aren’t always what I want. Overall, I think Sketchup is a great tool to start with easy, creative and helpful.

This chair and table model in SketchUp is built using simple shapes, mainly rectangles, and the push and pull tool to extrude them into 3D forms.
