Next, the most impressive for me about the Green School in Bali is the school buildings, which the school building are designed in very creative way with the concept of nature with all of the design and ideas are very breathtaking. These include renewable energy using a hydroelectric vortex generator and solar cells at specific point around the school. I hope Malaysia can increased this kind of concept, since I can see there are some benefits with the concept, which are it could reduced environment impact, increased health and well-being, increased environmental and sustainability literacy for all graduates and it could save energy even lower utility bills for schools.

I am going to share about one of my favorite on-going assessment which is e-portfolio in padlet. At first, I did not know what is padlet is and I started to think what padlet looks like because I have never use padlet before. Once I entered in Dr Karthi’s class, she introduced us a padlet which we need to write our e-portfolio in the padlet. After further researched on what is padlet and how to use it, I realised that, I think I falling in love on using it. It is because, there are so much of features that I could use and make my e-portfolio looks interesting and attractive. Padlet app is similar like blogs but padlet is more fun and convenient for me because I could decorate and modifying my paldet with my own creativity. I am enjoying of using padlet for the first time and e-portfolio would be on of my favourite on-going assessment because I could reflect everything that I have learnt in the class which it could be one of the advantages for me in my learning process as a student. Next, e-portfolio is convenient for everyone to use it especially for students because they could log in the padlet at anywhere, anytime and at any devices to work on it. I definitely will use e-portfolio as one of my teaching strategies in the future for my students. 

Before this lesson, my knowledge on assessment is low. After further discussion and exploration, now I know that assessment has a critical role in the teaching process.

After the further exploration on important of assessment, now I realized that assessment is a key of learning because it could help students to learn. When students are able to see how they are doing in the class, they are able to determine whether or not they understand the course material into their learning process. Other than that, assessment could also help motivate students. If students know they are doing poorly, they may begin to work harder in the future. 

One day I will be an educator, by making an assessment it would be easier and convenient for me to evaluate each students performance in the class.

In my new learning experiences which based on my exploration, Informal assessments are those spontaneous forms of assessment that could easily be incorporated in the day-to-day classroom activities and that measure the students’ performance and progress. Other than that, informal assessments are content and performance driven by the students. Based on the exploration in informal assessment and now I know that, the latest informal assessment in the education nowadays is Portfolio. Portfolios assessment it is one of the informal assessments and have become increasingly popular in education. Most of teachers are now used portfolio to assess everything from student outcomes in their learning process. This is an assessment tool that is great for helping students, as well as teachers and parents, to see their progress over time. By looking at all of their work over the course of time, teacher could see how well the students could reflect back on what they have learnt in the class or something that they have been experience based on the lecture. In addition, this informal assessment students have an opportunity to look at and reflect on everything on what they have been doing.

I have experienced this kind of informal assessment from my previous semester, which I could see e-Portfolio could give benefits for the students. Students could make a self-reflection on what they have learned in the class and some students are not good at test-takers and portfolios offer them an alternative to demonstrate mastery of content. From my point of view, I could see portfolio it is one of the great informal assessment for the teacher and the students. I will use portfolio assessment for my students in the future if I be an educator one day.

On the other hand, the informal assessment is one of the authentic assessments that can be taken by designing special activities, such as activity that based on observations, projects announced for group or individual, experiments, verbal presentations, demonstrations, or actual performances. A number of informal assessments are created for the typical classroom environments only consisting of the assignments, journals, essays writing, reports making, literature discussion groups, or reading logs. In the informal assessment technique, it is easier to be done to show the progress of each student by using actual works.

Both assessment have give a crucial roles in education especially to teachers and students. However, both assessments have the differences. 

My great moment in formal assessment when lecturer give us a test or a quiz in the class to evaluate each students performance and give them marks. From my point of view, this kind of assessment it could improve students' academic achievement and could enhanced students motivation.
