My name is Hayley and I am originally from Ocean City, NJ. After attending college at the University of Colorado, I spent three years living in South America bouncing around between Peru and Argentina. I absolutely LOVE the Spanish language but even more so the various cultures and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to teach such kind and wonderful students, who also have so much to teach me! This is my second year at CJSHS and my fourth year teaching. Although it will look a little different this year, my students and our connection is my number one priority and I look forward to finding creative ways to connect and grow together!

Hola, mi nombre es Hayley y soy de Ocean City, New Jersey. Yo estudié en la Universidad de Colorado para estudiar español y antropología, y después pasé tres años viviendo en América del Sur entre Perú y Argentina. Me encanta el idioma español, pero aún más las diversas culturas y me siento muy agradecida por la oportunidad de enseñar a nuestros estudiantes tan amables y maravillosos, que también tienen mucho que enseñarme. Este es mi segundo año en aquí CJSHS y mi cuarto año enseñando. Aunque será un poco distinto este año, mis estudiantes y nuestra conexión son mi prioridad número uno y espero encontrar formas creativas de conectarnos y crecer juntos.

I am Noemi Vigil-Reyes. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and moved to the United States at 2 years old. I grew up in Sonoma County. I attended Sonoma State University and graduated with a bachelor's in psychology. After graduating I worked at my alma mater and fell in love with teaching. I enjoy working with students in developing language skills but most importantly i love sharing my culture and learning more about other cultures as well. This is my first year teaching at CJSHS and loving making connections with students and I am looking forward to growing together!

¡Hola! Soy Noemi Vigil-Reyes. Nací en Oaxaca, México y me mudé a los Estados Unidos a los 2 años. Crecí en el Condado de Sonoma. Asistí a la Universidad Estatal de Sonoma y me gradué con una licenciatura en psicología. Después de graduarme trabajé en mi alma mater y me enamoré de la enseñanza. Disfruto trabajar con estudiantes en el desarrollo de habilidades lingüísticas, pero lo más importante es que me encanta compartir mi cultura y aprender más sobre otras culturas también. ¡Este es mi primer año enseñando en CJSHS y me encanta hacer conexiones con los estudiantes!
