-My favorite type of books are fiction because it's the most creative, interesting types of books in my opinion.

-My "Good Book Criteria" is usually just books that are always interesting and crazy because I easily get bored reading. I do not like books that take awhile to get interesting. I usually go for the type of books that are very well-known and popular.

-Some books i enjoyed in the past were The Outsiders, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and The Fault Of Our Stars because they never bored me.

-Currently, I am reading "Sold" by Patricia McCormick and I am not very far but, it seems like a weird, confusing book. It's is not to bad of a book and I will continue reading to see if I like it or not.

-Sold takes place in a small village on mountaintop in Nepal.

-This book takes place back in the past because she grew up in a rural society where everything is not as good as the present.

-At the opening of the book we meet many characters so far. Lakshmi, 13 year old farm girl in danger, is the main character and narrator of Sold . Ama, Lakshmi's mother, is described as a typical village wife. The Stepfather is Ama's second husband in the novel. Gita was Lakshmi's bestfriend but, right now she is in the city with her family making money. Tali is Lakshmi's goat that gives milk to there family to make cheese.

-If I was the director of this novel, I would probably open up this scene on a mountain in India that looks rural. The mood would open up sad.

-My favorite character is Lakshmi because she is such a brave, caring little girl. She will do anything to help her family and i love that.

-My least favorite character is definitely the stepfather because he is just a lazy gambler that does nothing to help anyone but himself. He spends his days at the tea shop gambling and conversing with the with old men and sees no value in Lakshmi. He is very selfish.

-If I had dinner with one of the characters it would probably be Ama. Ama is Lakshmi's mother. I would ask her about how it is like to live and raise her children in a rural area they live in. Also, I would ask her more about Lakshmi and why she loves her a lot.

It was very boring at times but the towards the ending it got very interesting.

-I think this books genre was realistic fiction because it sounded like real life but, it didn't actually happen.

-I actually loved how this book ended because I really did not see it coming that much. The ending was a great and interesting.

-This book somewhat reached my good book criteria.
