Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina has many European influences to it. According to Annie Dale from Berkeley, walking around the streets of Buenos Aires is different from normal Latin America. In Argentina, they have a culture of guachos. Guachos are cowboys in the Argentinian countryside and are typically mestizos. The cowboy culture of Argentina isn’t very similar to most of Latin America because it came about because of the Spanish.  Also, the Argentinians have made the tango. The tango has roots back to Europe, although it does contain a little bit of indigenous culture ("Culture of Argentina." Countries and their Cultures).
