I really liked this quote because it basically summarises Oskars journey with the key. He says this to Mr. Black whom he feels most comfortable with and can speak with him honestly. He just wants to find a logical explanation to his fathers death and he feels that the key is "the key" to his answer in what happened to his father. This quote also shows how Oskar has grown. He is speaking honestly, expressing his true feelings and its the first time he has actually trusted someone since his fathers death which was a big milestone for him.

I really liked this book review. It captured the essence of the book and explained the unsaid which is important because with Oskar, there were many things unsaid. I also liked how Michel talked about the two very different perspectives. He said you could see the story as being very ill, or you could see it as bold and energetic. He explains the book very well and gets you to understand Oscar and his quirky personality which is a very important element in this story.

In the story Oskar never met his grandfather, and I connected this to a character from one of my favorite TV shows. In This Is Us, one of the characters named Randall(Sterling K. Brown) never met his father. Both Randall and Oscar always wondered about their grandfather/father and were very curious about them.
