Deep gratitude to NWA and WIC providers for standing strong with low-income moms, babies, and young children. Even through the uncertainty of the shutdown, you ensured families continued to get the support they depend on. Your advocacy and leadership were instrumental in achieving full WIC funding for 2026. Thank you to all NWA staff for working tirelessly through uncertainty and keeping WIC staff well informed. Thank you to my local agency staff for remaining calm, cool and collected during unsettling times and fielding daily calls from participants.

Thanks to NWA for fighting for the WIC staff and families. I am so grateful to the State for being supportive and most of all grateful our WIC families didn't lose any benefits. WIC staff are the BEST. Great job everyone! Our voice matters.....
