Zeus is so mad that he chains Prometheus up and tricks his brother, Epimetheus. The vengeful king makes Pandora from the earth, and he gives her to Epimetheus as a bride. Zeus gives Pandora a box full of everything terrible that one can possibly imagine and tells her not to open it. Because Pandora is the perfect girl, she has the gift of curiosity and it got to the best of her, so she opens it.
