And within Japan has a demanding work culture, with long hours and high expectations, which only further contributes to stress levels and a recommended option for taking a break. Did you know that in Tokyo, its dense crowds, particularly in train stations, are perceived as both causes of stress and potential for enchantment?

-Tokyo experiences specific mental health difficulties very frequently, including as stigma, excessive working hours, and even karoshi, which is death from overwork. Mental illness accounts for roughly a quarter of Japan's disease burden. Anxiety, mood, and drug use problems are quite common throughout the course of a lifetime. Tokyo's urban planning reflects the city's ongoing reconstruction following natural catastrophe, with complicated zoning and changing residential patterns leading to stress in densely populated areas.
