Those that do enough to avoid unsatisfactory performance...champions of MEDIOCRITY! Cant motivate and inspire everyone. There should be process and accountability in doing your job. Evidence of meeting the required standards and consequences if these are not met. Teachers aren't students but professionals.
Expect it and treat them as such.
Strengthen the PDP process, link it as a requirement of VIT registration.
Doc or take staff back a step if the dont provide evidence.

We frequently reference that explicit teaching can improve students with a .56 to .75 effect size.  We always hear how teachers are time poor. Well, its time to give primary teachers the same amount of planning time as their secondary counter parts, so they can collaboratively plan more literacy and numeracy lessons.
