I believe this because although I try my hardest at my classes we are currently in a pandemic and I have a large family that I am the primary caretaker of. Unfortunately, when sickness hits my home I am the only one that can care for everyone and take care of everything. I will have to get myself more organized and make more time for myself and my school work. I need to make sure that I am not just trying to get all my schoolwork done after I put the kids to bed and picked up the house. Unfortunately, this class with not be able to help me aside from motivating me to make time for my classwork so that I can be successful in my chosen career of being a SPED teacher. This class will be able to help me with gaining knowledge about the IEP process and what support is available to students in need of assistance. I have two boys who currently have IEP's and another who we are finally getting the evaluation started on after struggling for 3 years trying to get him help.
