I learned many things about photography in this project. I learned that you don’t need a formal education to pursue art; just the need to create & share things with other people. I learned how to edit my photos on my phone to make them look more professional & like other artists. This was a fun project that allowed me to explore people’s ideas of art & learn how to create my own.

This was a very interesting project & I had a lot of fun playing with different perspectives. I learned how to change perspective and create interesting pictures based off of what I found around me. This helped me to create very dynamic pictures with interesting subjects.

Leading Lines

I really enjoyed this project. It was fun to experiment with different lines and try leading the viewer through the photo. This photo was my favorite because I found the spider as I was walking by and loved how it looked in its place. Learning how to work with leading lines was very interesting and helped to improve my photography skills.

3D Form

I liked this project because it was interesting to see how the light reacted with the subjects of my photos, and how the different angles changed the dimensions. It was hard to find really good 3D form pictures, but I think I did fairly well. I like this photo the best because it shows a lot of depth and texture & also includes an interesting perspective.

Texture Man-made Photo

I liked this project even though it was kind of difficult to come up with different textures, especially without using nature. This was my favorite photo because it uses the cool texture of the sign & allows you to see through the holes to the sky. I also like the editing that I did, and how the curves made the sky look more interesting.

Nature Texture

This was a fun project because it was cool to look for texture in nature and take pictures from different angles. I also liked learning how to remove objects from photos & further my Photoshop skills. This is my favorite picture because of how saturated & colorful it is.

Color in Photography

This project was easy & fun. I liked taking pictures of all of the changing leaves & trying to add lots of color to my photos. This is my favorite picture because it has nice colors and leading lines. I also like how the camera focused on the texture of the photo.

Bird's Eye Photo

This project was really fun. I liked taking pictures in the black box with all of the cool lighting. I had many different pictures that I liked during the project. All of them had unique perspectives and lighting. This picture was my favorite because of how the lighting looks and the perspective.

Pop Art

This project was really fun. I liked making the pop art pictures and bringing out the shadows & highlights in them. this is my favorite pop art picture because of its interesting color scheme and also how the black stands out against the different backgrounds.

Hockney Joiners

During this project, I learned that David Hockney created really cool pictures called joiners. I liked this style because it was very different and it was interesting to look at all the pictures that are grouped together. I really liked this project. It was fun to change the pictures around to create a collage that matched. I think this project should be taught to future classes because it’s a really fun and easy way to learn about different artists & their styles.

Fantasy World

This project was fun. I liked combining all of the pictures & changing them to make them fit in the photo. The project was a bit hard because it was difficult to find good pictures to use. Overall, I liked this project & liked using my new Photoshop skills.

DIY Photoshop Week

I really liked this project because was fun & pretty easy. My favorite Photoshop skill to learn was the double exposure effect. I liked this one mostly because I decided to add some of my own touches without the video, like the gradient background. This was a very fun project & I would love to do more in the future.

Reflection

I liked taking this class. It was exciting & I learned a lot of new skills in Photoshop. I liked doing the DIY weeks because they allowed me to explore different Photoshop skills and try new things. This class also taught me different photography skills like different angles, leading lines, and forced perspectives. Because of these new skills, I can now create better photos and try new ideas on my own. I am excited to start Photo II and learn even more photography skills.
