Based on your opinion, how the spatial interpolation method can help and possible to be practices in surveying field?

Answer:
In my opinion, the spatial interpolation method can help and is possible to be practiced in the surveying field because it also can be a process of spatial prediction or estimating values of certain locations that are not surveyed yet based from the point network that has their own known values. Interpolation can be used to estimate elevation and any other elements that relate to the site's environment which is useful for assisting in the surveying field.

For example the stochastic method, Kriging. It uses the known locations to estimate the data value of the unknown location. It is helpful as it has the capability to produce not only prediction surface, but also providing some measurements of the uncertainty or accuracies of the prediction.

Provide one application which involved both overlay methods (vector and raster). 
Propose data source, datasets, data format and methods involved to solve the for analysis purpose.
