You can hide / unhide rows and columns by selecting them then choosing format in the cells group of the home tab, then choose hide/unhide. You can also transpose rows and columns which switches all the row data to the column data and column data to row data. To do this select your content and copy. When you paste it chose paste special from the clipboard and the click transpose. In project 2 we worked with themes. To insert a theme go to the page layout tab and in the themes group select themes then choose a theme. You can also change the font of your theme in the themes group with the fonts command. Then choose a different color scale for your theme. Finally if you hit the themes command go to the bottom of the menu and hit save current theme so you will be able to use it again. In project 3 we modified the appearance of a worksheet. You can add a background by going to the page layout tab and in the page setup group and choosing the background command. You can also open the page setup group dialog box. To modify your worksheet. Here you can choose the orientation, choose margin size, center work vertically or horizontal, enter a header or footer, and name print titles. In project 4 we worked with headers and footers. To insert a header go to the insert tab and in the text group choose header and footer. You can type in a header and then choose go to footer command in the navigation group of the design tab. Here you can type a footer or choose a custom one from footer drop down menu in the header and footer group on the same tab. In project 5 we prepared a worksheet for printing. To remove the background go to the page layout tab and select remove background. Then open up the page setup dialog box and modify your worksheet just like we did in project 3. In project 6 we formatted a payroll sheet. We added a theme by using the themes group in the page layout tab. We also entered a header and footer like we previously said in project 4. We need to set gridlines appear in print worksheets so to do the page layout tab and in the sheet options group select print under gridlines.
