My concept would change this consumer shift as the idea of my INP is based around designer gym wear. During the pandemic consumer buying changed and products such as loungewear were highly purchased, this therefore would have altered consumer lifestyles. By focusing on gym wear that can be worn outside of working out, this will create a positive shift as consumers remain in the mentality of comfort and versatility of clothing.

However, analysis has shown that categories such as nightwear, activewear and underwear have started to see a reduced amount of demand compared to 2020.

Logistics Gridlock
As the concept I have decided to go ahead with includes sustainable ways of shipping and manufacturing, this factor may impact my plan as supply chains intensify. Statistics mention that 77% of ports are experiencing abnormally long times to turnaround traffic.

Product Passports
With my chosen brand Gucci having past issues with authenticity and fake product being sold, these new product passports which are centred around blockchain and radio frequency identification can help tackle brands with counterfeit products. Product passports will allow consumers to the product materials of the item, where it's from, how it was made and working conditions at the manufacturer which will be information detailed on these product passports.
