I came from a retail background working 6, sometimes 7, days a week at 50-60 hours a week and not seeming to feel satisfied. I didn't feel like what I did made a difference in the world. I like to be challenged and I wanted that work life balance. The idea of having breaks with my three kids and still being able to contribute to the financial well-being of my household was extremely appealing and well here I am.
