In my own understanding, disability in moral/religious model the person who have a disability it can be curse or a blessing, curse in a sense that if the parent is sinner the God will punish them in a way that thier child become an abnormal or a disabled person, so some people believe that if their is a sinner in the member of the family it will affect the whole but it can be a blessing, a blessing that God create because it is a blessing that they need to take care of it, not because they are abnormal but they are unique and they think this child with a disability will help them to give more blessings from God or in other word this is their lucky charm.

In my own understanding about biomedical/individual model, a person who have a disability are the person who need to be assess and fix their self through therapy because this a person with disability have a illness to need to take care of it because they think this person have a defect or problem in thier personality or to their mind, on how they think and how they act.

As we discussed a while ago we have different model in disability, and we tackled the first two which Moral/religious model and biomedical/individual model. We might that people with disability are the same but in moral/religious model and biomedical/individual model we found out they are have difference between how we look at them. In moral we look at them that they are curse and special or blessing, curse in the way of we think that their family do bad thing to others and special or blessing in the way of they bringing bless, a lot ot opportunities in their family. The other model which is biomedical/individual model, we think that being disable is inherited in them.

In my understanding and how people view people with disabilities in the moral/religious model and biomedical/individual model.
First in Moral Religious here we will see how people look at people with disabilities, they look at them with contempt for their disability, they laugh at, cheat, sometimes even hurt etc.
Secondly, here in Biomedical/Individual, people look at people with disabilities as if they no longer belong in this world, because of their illness or the fact that they are just living in this world that is being treated, deceived and tortured.

However, we should not share our findings with our ancestors that when other people have disabilities we look at them differently. So this is the beginning from us to respect them, understand them in our situation and their situation. Let us feel that they are important and that we love them dearly.

In this moral/religious model, Person's with disabilities are affected by the way society treats them. There are three parts to the moral/religious model. The first is "curse." In this part, society tells them that God was punishing them for a sin that needed to be atoned for. Some people around them will say, " kaya ganyan yung anak niya kasi makasalanan siya, karma niya yan." While in the second part of the moral/religious model, which is the blessing, they see the Person's with disabilities as a blessing or a lucky charm because they think that God gave them a precious gift. And lastly, in the Mystical Narrative, there is a good ability in return for having a disability, like, for example, people without hands but good at drawing. In the biomedical/individual model, it will contradict the Bible and also how society sees Person's with disabilities like a broken phone that needs to be fixed. We see them as "abnormal" and some people can't help but compare them to normal people. And now I realize that all we need to do is help them and take care of them because they are the angels of God in this world. And also, I realize that the person who treated them wrong is the one who is abnormal.

In my own understanding in Moral/Religious Model is all about the gods idea because these ablities on this model are being viewed as either a curse or a blessing to their family or others while the Biodemedical/Individual Model disability is viewed by medical problem because when we meet PWDs is we say that their disease is contagious or they are not clean so we have to do is they need treatments for them to become normal.

While in my perception about biomedical/individual people see them as a ill person who needs to be treated, that they have medical problems. But in the other hand I believe more in moral/religious where they gift from above who truly beloved, that God given it to the right person, who willing to take care and give a love.

When we have differences people judge easily without knowing what conditions we had to have those differences. People with disabilities are tge common example that people judge easily because they are differ from us. As we discussed people view disability either moral/religious model or biomedical/individual model. In moral/religous model peopl views person with disabilities either curse or blessings. Curse in a way that it serves as punishment or Karma for the parent because they are bad person. Blessing for other people because it was given by God they are good parents and have the ability to took care and loving the person with disabilities. Also blessings that they treated pwd as lucky charm that more blessings and opportunities may happen for them. In the conclusion in Moral/Religious Model people view PWD as Curse and Blessings. On the other hand Biomedical/Individual Model people view as contradicting the bible where in they view them as ill there is something that missing from them or defect on their body by that they seen as not normal and abnormal, they tend to compare to those people who are normal, also they seen as glitch that something is defect or damage that why it must needed to be fix. PWD need special care, we need to understand and accept them. Do not view them because of their disabilities, view them as person a normal person who needs care and love. We have different ways on how to view them but l suggest that view them or treat them as normal people who need special care and need.

My understanding on how do people view disability in moral/religious model and biomedical/individual model. In the moral and religious model, they emphasize the condition or disability that a person has, because people with disabilities are viewed as a special person with a special ability. Even though they have a disability so they still have different abilities as a person created by the Lord. Once we insult people with disabilities, there will be a replacement that they call "KARMA" so we must understand the conditions that a person has. Even if he/she lacks something, but his belief is intact is a good characteristic. While in biomedical or individual model, it is a model that is inherited from parents or relatives. He/She was born that way because of the genes that his family has. This is where the physicality of every individual enters, on how they function in their daily lives.

In moral model, disabled people are evil people who have most likely committed an offence at some point in their lives. Disability is viewed as something 'wrong' with a person's body or mind in the biomedical model. The medical perspective has been criticized for treating the disability as one of the most significant aspect of the person and implying that the individual is powerless to change it.

The Moral/Religious Model is refers to our own beliefs or religious beliefs. In this model, we tend to think people with disabilities is either Curse , Blessing and Mystical Narrative. In the Curse, people believe that having a disabled child is a sign that parents of that child are sinners or in other word, having disabled child is a sign that the parents are not good person. In the Blessing, people seen that having a disabled child is a blessing and precious gift that given by God. Additional, blessing is one of the belief of people that having disabled child is have a reason of God that this parents have the ability or they are able to rise this child better than other parents. In mystical narrative, people believe that when one child have a disability, they have special abilities in other aspects of their life. Second is the Biomedical/Individual model, this is revolutionary because it is contradict the Bible. In this model people seen the disability as a medical problem and glitch which needs to fix. In this model, disable person seen as lower than the normal people. In other words, they seen as a abnormal or people who have medical problem which needs to be fix.

People in moral/ religious models view person with this ability with two perspectives the first one is they say it is a curse because they have a children with special needs it's a curse because of what their parents do, maybe because of their bad attitude, they are always gossiping about what others life, like that that's why it's their fault to have a children with special needs. And the last one is they say that this is a blessing it's a blessing to have a children with special needs because God knows that you can take care and you can love that children with all of your heart that's why he gave you that children, and also they say having a children with special needs is your lucky charm because you are successful and living your life that you want. People in biomedical/ individual model view person with disability that they say if you are person with disability they know that you have a glitch inside your brain that needs to fixed, and also they are always compared the people with disability to the normal people.

In moral/religious model, this model wants to educate us how we accept disabilities in our community or in our environment. It shows us how this moral/ religious accept this kind of disability, other people says that it is a curse when they have a child with disability while other says, it is a blessing where in that child may lead them to their dream. In Biomedical/Individual it pertains that disability child is need an assessment. This topic, I realize that we need to treat normal the disability people like a normal, because they deserve to respect.

Based from what I’ve learned a while ago, disorder was viewed as a cursed or blessing to those people who have any impairment or disorder in terms of moral/ religious . It is something that can be blame by the parents because there are factors in which the parents have made mistakes and bad hobbies so that the baby becomes unusual. Somehow, it serves as their ticket to enter in heaven. On the other hand, in biomedic/ Individual, they viewed the person who has disorders as having glitch or damage in their body or in the system of their body that should be cure and remove. Somehow, it is against the Bible and they are sometimes considered as unusual god creations that need to be cured to become normal.

People perceive disability in terms of persons with disabilities seeing them as social treats; society perceives that having a disability makes you a dirty person or that you are no longer pure. People with impairments are also considered as objects, being used as a source of temptation or entertainment by others. There is also a distinct perfective because of how people perceive persons with disabilities. Some people believe that when a person has a condition, they can claim it appears innocent or that they cannot commit any sin, while others consider those with disabilities as a source of entertainment.

In terms of morals and religion, their treatment of the disabled is based on their beliefs. When you have a child with a disability, for example, they may claim that you are karma as a result of your sins. Others argue that having a disabled child is a blessing since it is a gift from God to your family. Another notion is that if a family member has a disability, luck or opportunity will come their way.

In terms of biological and individual disability, it's clear that disability is an illness that can be treated to return to normality. Having a disability is a medical issue to be addressed to fix.

Based on my understanding about the two models that we discussed is that we can say that if the person have view disability in moral or religious it's all about God where in if that person has abilities it is whether Blessing or Curse . In blessing if you have a child with a disability it is entrusted to you by god because you can handle it and you can take care of her/him. While Curse is that, this is when you have a child with a disabilities because you have committed sinful and you are not a good person to others .

For the biochemical or individual model when you have a persons with a disability it seen as not normal because they are considering as an abnormal it's need to be cured , also this is the disability that is internal pain that has a glitch inside that need to look and find out what is wrong and need to fixed. Additionally in this model the brain must need to use .

For my conclusion , In our society we will not lose our uniqueness in all aspects such as what kind of people we are, what our culture is and especially if there are PWDs. If we encounter someone like this, the best thing to do is just understand them and accept them just what you treat the normal people because we are all humans . Lastly let's help them in anything.

Biomedical model seen also as a glitch wherein it needed a fixing. It is also said that the biomedical model contradicts what the bible says. PWDs are seen as ill person that is aimed to be cure that would lead to a change “ almost cure or made more normal”.

Biomedical/Individual Model is also known as normative model wherein normal people is the basis that pushed the fact that PWD have a problem or disability.

There are disability models that can help us understand how people perceive disabled people, whether they are influenced by contextual factors or how we observe them. In the first model, which is the moral/religious model, the thoughts we might perceive are from our spiritual beliefs, anything that is related to God, or something that is an exchange of 100 points in heaven. For example, if I encountered a person with a disability, he has autism to be specific, I might say that he had it because of the bad behavior of his parents and that they were suffering as a punishment. On the other hand, I might say that "wow, he is a gifted child of his family. His existence helped his family to be reunited. " Though there are bad views in this model, at least we can still see disabled people as someone who is a gift from heaven..

The second model, which contradicts the first one, is the biomedical/individual model. In this model, a disabled person is seen as someone who is really ill or someone who has a problem in their body that needs to be fixed to reach the set standard in society. A disabled person is not a curse nor a blessing for the field of medicine; it is an ill that should be treated. That should be the only treatment. I think there is something lacking in this model. It is the care that should be given to them. We should not just see them as a computer system that should be fixed if a problem is found. There should be care and understanding of their situation and experiences.

Disability was defined as having inability or unable to do something. Some people discriminate or judge a person because of their views and understanding towards the person with disability. In my own opinion people can see disability in moral/ religious model in terms of their beliefs, their understanding and their idea that God gave them a child with special needs because of their attitude (good or bad) , their moral actions and their behavior. Others may see it as a curse and a blessing. Meanwhile they view disability in biomedical/individual model in terms of someone that has illness who needs treatment or assessment. They used their mind or knowledge to assess the person and people think that PWDs are inferior towards normal person. Hence, as a future educator we must understand, accept, and respect the difference of our students, either they are in normal curve or not. We must not see them as a curse or even a card to enter in heaven. We should not let them feel that they are excluded instead we let them feel that they're accepted in the society and a blessing given by God.

Based on my understanding, the people view in the moral/religious model are it considered as a CURSE because of the parents of this person with disability has a bad characteristics on a way that they have a bad attitude or maybe judge a person. It also view as a BLESSING because some of the person with disability is considered as a miracle or a lucky charm to have a prosperity in a family. It is also viewed as a MYSTICAL NARRATIVE wherein this person will not be able to do something else or an aspect in a normal person, however, there has a wonderful aspect that he/she excel by his/her special ability. On the other hand, the people view in the biomedical/individual model, a person with disability is a biologically ill which is it is not normal and it is must needed to be treated. It is view as a defect in a body of a person such as a glitch needed to fix it.

They also think that it is a single ticket to paradise or heaven if you are a PWD.

In terms of disability in moral/religious model, some people view them in a way that they are most likely the worst individual or circle of families that living in this world specifically in if that person’s disability causes of curse, and others are view them in a pity way in which some says that “ that’s just up to them or they just deserve that. “ in short having resentment to them. In addition to, for those whom blessed to have someone or person even if it has disability, which they’re still grateful for the blessings which come into their lives, that they are an angel-like, some people view them in a way that they are in the uppermost part of life, others are view them that they are worth and deserving to show a respect and to look up for having that kind of situation or circumstances. In terms of disability in biomedical/individual model, in this model they are the individuals whose a disabled person who is ill, there are ill in different aspects so, on the other hand, they badly need to be treated or undergo in a treatment process, they have problems inside them that should fixed, some people view them in a way of having sympathizing with them and others are showed being happy in the lives of someone’s whom suffering a pain or an illness.

In my own understanding, Moral religious model is from the word God, wherein in this model, it explains that disability is involve with god, it seems to depend on what we do so the person is having a disability. If the person has disability,
it means she or he is having a lack of faith in God. for example, Jun jun is the father of alex. Jun jun is a bad person, he is a cheater and a shoplifter and Alex have down syndrome, they are saying that alex got down syndrome because of jun jun bad actions. while when we say Biomedical/individual model, it is all about person with disabilities is like a glitch that is need to fix and give assessment it explains that people with disability need assistance and treatment. We must comprehend and accept them. Do not judge them based on their limitations, instead, see them as people who require care and affection. We all have various perspectives on them, treat them as normal people who require extra attention.

This is nothing new to us that there are many different perspectives on how we perceive or view things in modern society, given that we are all unique individuals. As a result, we all have different perspectives on how we see things in life in many ways, including how we see persons with disabilities. The Moral/Religious Model and the Biomedical/ Individual Model are two examples of how people perceive persons with disabilities. People in the moral/religious model see them in three ways. The first is as a curse, as if they are experiencing karma as a result of their parents' bad attitudes and immoral acts toward others. Second, blessing people see them as lucky charms, believing that God gave them a disabled child because He knows they will treat him or her well. Finally, mystical narrative people regard them as fortunate because, despite their impairment, they are capable of doing surprising things, implying that they are also capable in some areas despite their disability. People with disabilities are viewed as people with issues in the biomedical/individual model because of their health conditions and illnesses. They saw themselves as an object with a defect that needed to be viewed in order to be fixed or cured using medical care.

While disability in biomedical or individual model refers to the the condition of a person.

As a teacher, we should recognize this in all students, and if we know a child's weakness, especially if he has a disability, we should not force them to do it because the child may skip school. As a teacher, we must continue to build the child's strengths so that he can benefit from them as a person, and if there is a chance that we can assist them in their weakness, we will do so as long as he is not under pressure. And it is a great help to our teachers because the child will be closer to us if he understands we are assisting them rather than pressuring them since a child is connected to individuals they trust and who they believe have good intentions for them. A teacher must be able to communicate with people with disabilities in order to assist and listen to them.

I realize that students with learning disability are very special because even some of them are not good in speaking, art, has low intellectual capacity and cannot read properly they still have hidden talents and skills that normal students do not have. As a future teacher it is my responsibility to seek and discover those hidden talents and skills and I will be their guide to enhance and improve these talents and skills that will cover their weaknesses which is their learning disability. I will give equal and fair treatment whether they are normal students or students with learning disability.

Once I get into the field of teaching, there are things I should remember to become an effective educator. Different learners would welcome me in my classroom, and understanding them was what I needed. In today's discussion about learners with LD, I realized: If one sense is not functioning well, it doesn't mean all senses may be affected, because there are other senses of the learner that will be working. Perhaps they are also excelling in other areas of achievement. Let us not just stick to what the norms say. They are gifted, and I am sure that, like other well-known personalities, learners with LD deserve to be praised and supported by us. So, as an educator, it is in my hands how they will achieve those things; I just have to be patient and give them more opportunities to explore what they can do. In handling these kinds of situations, I need to have deeper observations and assessments, for me to understand them clearly.

It is part of a person's life to have this, yes some things are difficult or weak for a person, but there are also things they are good at. For me, my realization as a teacher about learners with disabilities is to "embrace them" because they are the students mostly needed a love, and attention. As a teacher, patience is key to provide them a support. Guide them to sustain their needs in school. For example, if the students have a difficulties when it comes to reading a long text in a book for instance, give them the alternatives to provide and to help them understand the text easier. Give them an audio recording to listen about what is in the book. It has something to do for them to don't feel the pressure about what they are doing. It is the way to give them also a comfort despite about the kind of conditions or disabilities they have.

And I realized that the discrepancy refers to a child who does not achieve the expected learning or achievement at the proper age. So now that I know all of this, it helps me handle the child with a learning disability by guiding and helping them in any situation that allows them to learn and improve their ability, even if they have a disability.

As I become a future teacher, we need to have strategies to use so that we know how to handle children with learning difficulties. We will always give feedback that will help them know if their knowledge has also developed. Use diagrams, graphics and pictures that they can easily understand.
Having a learning disability is not something that a person can grow out of. It doesn't go away. Students with learning disabilities need to know that they are not dumb, slow, unsuccessful, or any of the other negative labels that children with learning disabilities may think apply to them. They need to know that they are not.

We give what they need as a teacher and not to judge them on what they experiencing in life.

Also after the discussion, I've realized that we can identify the student if they have Discrepancy by using knowing their age and seeing their expected knowledge if it is accurate or not.
Learning disability is characterized as a neurological or psychological condition that affects the brain of a child or a person. It can be dysgraphia, dyslexia, and dyscalculia and some causes of LD's are genetic factors, alchol, medicine intake, drugs such as cocaine etc and it can be inherited or by means of genetic factor.Upon the discussion a while ago, I realized that parent must be careful during their pregnancy period because it may affect child's development and I also realized that child with learning disability is not weak or pitiful as we think but instead there are things that we can consider as their strength, it can be in terms of art, singing, dancing, inventing and writing. Maybe they are slow in academics but they can excel in different thing. Hence, as a future educator, it is our duty to know what are their weaknesses in order for us to make an action to better improve it and also know their strength that may help them to excel more and have a confident, even they have disability they can still shine from above. Furthermore, upon recognizing the weaknesses and strength of our leaner we can easily provide activity or assessment that suited on their skills. We'll no longer see learner with LD as a person who cannot achieve our expectations but we can see them as a star who can shine among everyone.

By knowing that, we will have more of an idea as teachers to wait for the child's possible progress and not immediately judge the children. But when I have students who have confirmed that they have a learning disability, one of the things I have learned is how they should be given attention and be accommodated properly. Because even if they have such a situation, they also deserve to be treated like normal people, so that somehow we can help them not just stock up in such a situation, because like the famous people who became known around the world because of their skills, like Albert Einstein, with a disability, that didn't stop him from doing what he wanted, and that's what I could handle.

Teachers were not put into the field of teaching just to teach students, but also because it requires them to treat those students, especially those who have learning disabilities, with proper care and consideration. It is very important for a teacher to always keep in mind that every student with a learning disability is special, they are different from each other. They are all smart and excellent when it comes to other areas, knowing where they are good at and where they are not good at, because one of the roles of a teacher is to know them well in order to help them achieve things that they can't do as of the moment in a step-by-step process. Giving words of encouragement will definitely one of the things that I will be doing to help them boost their confidence and avoid being immediately criticized because of their disabilities. Remind myself that teaching is not the whole part of this profession. Prepare as much as I can because I will be dealing with a lot of different students, but also be as curious and open-minded as possible. This will enable me to understand them deeply.

As a teacher, what are your realizations about learners with Learning Disabilities and how could it help you in handling them?

As a future teacher, for today’s realization in regards of our discussion about learning disability, we will just actually tell if a child has learning disability if we noticed from that child that there is something different or strange to him or her, because the environment that a child lives even his or her social status has nothing to do with having a learning disability. So, we teachers must be observant in terms to the development of our learners because we cannot just tell that a person or child to have a disability just because he or she is differ from us, like a normal person also if a child has LD, there’s a possibility that he or she can excel in other things, so we don’t just underestimate them easily, to be honest they are amazing person because they have that kind of ability that even a normal person can’t do, some. As a person and woman, we should be mindful and careful in terms of the things, gestures, actions, even the medicines we take because it will not just affect our child’s health but also his o her mentality or way of thinking and that leads the child have a learning disability if we are not careful with what we do, who would blamed? Of course you, those things and gestures you did. Additionally, as a future teacher, we should not just set aside the feelings of our learners because they might feel hurt physically, emotionally and mentally, even ignored because at the early age, they can also feel pressured for the their parents expected to them, so we should be a considerate teacher and approach them as much as we can. It could help me to handling them, through knowing or discover, and assessing first what kind of disability they have even what they know and not, so we need a lot of effort to meet their appropriate learning methods, instructions and assessment.

Learning about people with disabilities provides many realizations about what we think about them. As a future teacher in making I have many realizations about peoples who have learning disabilities or disabilities. Back then, I used to easily judge people having disabilities, I under estimating their skills and abilities to function or perform. I only know back then that people who have disabilities are weak and enable to perform task and l only know that they are not normal compare to us.

When l was in the course of education l learned a lot and have many realizations and mistake that l've done about People who have disabilities. I underestimate their skills and abilities but if we compare their works sometimes it is more beautiful than people without disabilities. If we look on their knowledge and ideas sometimes their ideas are more creative and beautiful. I realized that people with learning disabilities are literaly no knowledge sometimes their are experiencing lag wherein their learning are late comers but if their learning comes it is more perfectly than we think. We do not have to judge person on what we only seen in our eyes, try to look and make effort to check where learners having learning disabilities good at. We should not that kind of person easily to judge in our learners, we should not set a hight standards or expectation about them. We teacher stand a role model to teach good things not to be a judgemental.

Being a teacher learning this topic will help me in handling them in a way that we should not underestimate their ability and try to help as a teacher to show their hidden talents and abilities we as a teacher must help them to improve and develop their hidden skills, abilities, talents despite on the disabilities they had. I will help them by showing my support, care abd love on coping their weaknesses and treat them fairly like normal students.

Yes, there are times that we can see them not normal like t, yet they are still a gifted individual who excels in some areas. Even if there brain develops in late they can still show other strengths. Or to put it another way, some pupils, even those with learning problems they have hidden skills to show. As a future educator, it is our responsibility to understand their deficiencies or their disabilities so that we may take steps to enhance them, as well as their strengths so that they can achieve more and have more confidence, even if they have a disability. Furthermore, by knowing our learner's flaws and strengths, we can easily create activities or assessments that are tailored to their abilities.

First the three leeters that i think are the letter e,d,s accronimes of my name Eunie Dizon Subaran. EDS means Encourage, Discover, Satisfied that i can apply as a future teacher and specially i can apply in the topic that they discuss.First the letter E Encourage give a motivation the children that have a LD they need a more supports than other childrens they need a more observation in there learnings so to make them a good students give them motivation or encouraged them to listen and be good to someone. Second the D Discover children with LD need more discovery specially some children with LD is hard to get or remember some words so as a teacher give them a short brief discovery on there own give them a activity that they do and away in accident to get a information on whats they need. Third is the S Satisfied some children that have LD most of them is in the stage of bullying so some of them have no strainght to satified there ability because of bullying so as a teacher you must talk to them politely and understandable to you must told to them that dont be shame on what LD they have be satisfied on what our God give to us.
