I played in a poker tournament with 839 players and finished in first place. I only played hands that had a high probability of winning, being very patient to only play my best hands. I had to concentrate on every hand and ask myself is this hand worthy of playing and if not, fold the hand. I played very few high quality hands and that is a winning formula.

My potted plants

Last spring, I planted a pot of mint on the balcony. In the first two weeks, I didn't find anything. I dug up the surface every day to check, and even suspected that the seeds had already rotted. It was not until the morning of the third week that a few green buds broke through the soil, but they were very thin and weak.

In order to make the mint grow healthily, I watered and exposed it to sunlight every day. Three months later, I finally harvested the first handful of mint leaves with a fresh fragrance.

This planting made me understand that patience is not passive waiting, but the wisdom of actively adjusting the rhythm. Just like the process of waiting for the mint to grow, only by restraining the impulse of rushing for success and patiently caring can we usher in the surprises of life.

The day I did my first nails, I was very nervous and didn't even know how to start. After a few minutes I needed to concentrate and be a little patient since I didn't handle the brush well to do the design, but in the end my work turned out beautiful.💅🏻

“Learning to drive taught me the true meaning of patience and concentration. It was my first time behind the wheel, and I initially believed it would be easy. However, it took me four months to become comfortable with it. The first time I drove alone, I was fully focused—carefully observing the road, using my turn signals, and checking my mirrors. I was so concentrated that the short five-minute drive from my home to Walmart felt like it lasted half an hour.”🚙🕦
