In 1858 he became the first person to take aerial photographs.

This was done using the wet plate collodion process, and since the plates had to be prepared and developed (a process that required a chemically neutral setting) while the basket was aloft, Nadar experienced imaging problems as gas escaped from his balloons. After Nadar invented a gas-proof cotton cover and draped it over his balloon baskets, he was able to capture stable images
I personally think his photography is quite boring, it doesnt have alot of character and raw emotion that i like to see in the images, it also lacks tone and deatil however the lady in white i put onn here has captured my interest because it just looks so out of place with the rest of his work.

He is the youngest of six, and his parents valued education as a means to pursue opportunity. He and his siblings attended optimal schooling from a young age, which resulted in a career in finance and corporate communications.He studied at the ESCE International Business School in Paris before working at Ernst & Young as an analyst, and then with British American Tobacco in the African international relations department. 
After a year-long sabbatical from corporate life, Diop made a shift towards a career in the Arts (2010). His debut project, Fashion 2112, The Future of Beauty, was a series of photographs which was shown at the Pan African Exhibition of the African Biennale of Photography in Bamako, Mali (2011). The success and recognition of this project resulted in Diop's attention to photography exclusively.

I took alot of insperation initially from the deitrich's mirror  series taken by kalliope amphous. I liked the broken mirror affect however i didnt want to smash up a mirror so i decided to use my photoshop skills to merge two images together, I wanted to create a paranormal effect like ghosts and demons but also bring in mental health and Borderline personality disorder.

I painted the models hands and forearms black and got another model with black paint to stand beind the model and grab them. Then I put the spotlights on the model to flood her out, however i wasn't completley happy with the way they were coming out so I got one light and did lowkey lighting to illuminate one side of the models face, I loved how the light left catch lights in the models eyes, they really stand out in the pictures i have taken. I chose to take most of the pictures in black and white because i liked how It brought out  the tones and depths in the modes faces. I was going to add a gausian blur affect to my picture but i ended up thinking it wasn't needed. I wanted to capture the details in her face and the water droplets however the background also had detail and I wanted it to focous on the model more than the background. So i went into photoshop and I made 2 layers one of the original image and then a copy of that image over the first layer, then i went into Filter-blur-gausian blur. and i picked how blurry i wanted the layer. The first images in this series were taken in a mirror which shattered in transit from the auction house. WhileheI was initially disappointed that the oldest and rarest of the mirrors (a travel mirror Dietrich owned in the 1930s) had arrived broken, he used the loss as an opportunity to create this set of darker, fragmented images.

In addition to his interest in mythology and superstitions surrounding reflections and mirrors, he often incorporate them into my work as symbols of spiritual and psychological states.

I started taking the photos in my garden and using the priory as a backdrop and the gate bit that keeps horses in, but when we were looking around i found this amazing spot where the sun was golden and just hit the plants and vegitation in one spot, so we took pictures in a feild and make the model look like they were chilling and having a good time in the sun but then i noticed there were sunflowers growing so we got them in frame . Sunflowers also symbolize worship and faithfulness in various religions because of their resemblance to the sun, which is associated with spiritual knowledge and the desire to seek light and truth I thought  it was quite ironic how it was such a livley warm photo that really makes you feel alive but theres a ghost. This photoshoot was inspired by a music video by jack stauber
